Each day players will be instructed
on team concepts which include:
Cut - Offs
Run Downs
Fly Ball
Communication
Infield Play
Outfield Play

Camp Objectives
Each player will receive 2 Potomac
Nationals tickets (included in camp fee).
Students will be instructed on hitting,
pitching, mechanics of throwing, infield,
outfield, and catching.
Students will learn the importance of
teamwork, good sportsmanship, and a solid
work ethic.
Each player will receive a Colangelo
Baseball camp shirt.

conditioning during camp.

Professional Career
Mike Colangelo began his playing career at Hylton High
School where he earned All-State honors. He continued his
education and career at George Mason University setting
numerous school records in just three years. Mike started
his professional career with the Anaheim Angels when they
selected him in the 21st round of the Major League Baseball
draft. Mike has completed 9 seasons in professional
baseball, while reaching the Major Leagues in 4 of those
seasons. His Major League teams include the Anaheim
Angels, San Diego Padres and Oakland Athletics.
Juan Piniella
Professional Career
Juan Piniella began his career at North Stafford High School
where he earned All-State honors. Upon graduation in 1996,
Juan was drafted in the 7th round by the Texas Rangers. In
2002, after enjoying a successful 7-year run with the Rangers,
Juan signed a contract with the Chicago White Sox. The
2004 season saw Juan continue to excel in his 9th
professional year with the Colorado Rockies.
