EVENT RECAP
we had a
blast in june!
A huge thank you goes to the East Cobb Carvers.
They put on an amazing showcase in June for our
residents, especially our male residents. As part of
our Great Outdoors theme last month, we invited
them over to showcase some of their pieces and talk
about the inspirations behind them.
The Happy Feet Walking Club has gotten off on the
right foot! Thanks to everyone who has signed up.
We look forward to adding more members.
In June we rolled out the Book Club. They chose to
have their first meeting at the local Library to pick
out their first book.

JOIN US THIS MONTH FOR
what’s popping in july?
On Thursday, July 2, please join us as Homestead Hospice and the wonderful
knitters of Woodstock Baptist Church and the East Cobb Senior Center present
our veterans with handmade Quilts of Valor. There will be a small program and
light refreshments will be served. Come out and support our veterans.
On Friday, July 3, Heritage will host an Independence Day Cookout for family and
friends! There will be food, fun, music and memories. If you would like to attend,
please RSVP.
THIS MONTH’S
chart hero
CARING, HONESTY, APPRECIATION,
RESPECT, TEAMWORK
Did you know ...
• Antonine’s favorite color is blue.
• She is an avid reader and her
favorite book is “Breath, Eyes,
and Memory” by Edwidge
Dandicat.
• She enjoys working out and
doing spin class.
IT’S OUR PLEASURE TO SERVE YOU ...
word from your executive director
ANTONINE has been a part of
the Heritage family since 2002. She
has a deep rooted love for working
with our residents. Because of her
tenure with the company, she has
developed individual relationships
with our residents and staff.
Antonine enjoys spending quality
time with her loved ones and
close friends. In her spare time she
loves to read and watch movies.
One of her favorite movies is “16
Candles.” We are very pleased to
have Antonine as a part of the
Heritage team!
Families
and
Friends,
As you may
know, we
have made
quite a few
changes
here.
Over the past few months, the Management team has grown. We have
completed our Management team by adding two great people, Bill Burrows,
Director of Sales and Marketing, and Toby Mena, Director of Maintenance.
We are very pleased to have them! Change is a major part of the growth
process. Now that we have the proper team in place, Heritage is looking
forward to creating new partnerships in the community and strengthen our
existing relationships. We would like to extend a special thanks to all who
have supported us in our transition and growth. Also, thanks for allowing
Heritage of Sandy Plains to care for your loved ones.
Summer is well on its way and I extend the invitation for family and friends
to check out what’s going on in the community. Please have a fun and safe
Independence Day!
Thanks for your continued support!
— Marni Kubit, Executive Director
