scholarship to college students who are church members pursuing
an education in a ministerial field. Simply address a letter to the
Missions Committee (c/o Rocky Hock Baptist Church) asking to be
considered for the scholarship and you will be contacted if more

May 10 during Morning Worship. If you

Kid’s Movie Night - “Big Hero Six” - April 24th from 7:00 - 9:00

Ignite & Jr. Ignite (Contemporary Worship for Kids) - Sunday,
April 26th in the Multi-purpose Room.
Youth Scavenger Hunt - Sunday, May 31st from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.
Meet at church and end at Pastor Mike’s home for a cook-out!
Youth & Children’s Ministries Fundraiser - Saturday, June 6th
from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Steak, Baked

Youth Summer Camp will be at Ridgecrest, NC from Saturday,
June 13 - Wednesday, June 17. The $50 deposit is due no later

Children’s Summer Camp will be at Campbell University in
Buies Creek, NC on June 15 - 19. The $50 deposit is due no later
than April 26th for those interested in attending.

Words of Thanks . . .
To our loving and most gracious Church Family,
Fent and I have been humbled by the outpouring of love and
support shown to us over the past few months. For the food, monetary
gifts and especially the prayers uplifted on our behalf, we are most
grateful. For those of you who helped with the Fund Raiser, whether
you sold tickets, bought tickets, prepared plates, delivered plates or
provided baked goods, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. God
has so richly blessed our family with such a caring and supportive
church family. By God’s Grace, I am finally healed. God Bless you

As you begin to “Spring Clean” and tidy up closets, set aside items that
you no longer want or need for the Chowan Christian Fellowship.
Each year in October, they go to West Virginia to give clothing,
especially warm clothes, to the children and adults there who are
lacking these essentials. Other items needed are baby clothes, diapers,
wipes, etc. If you have questions or would like to donate any of these
things, contact Belva White at 333-8962 or Donna Sandel (Lois Peele’s
daughter) at 312-9749. Please pray for this ministry as they are now
preparing for their trip.
