This will replace the MEAP test that students have taken in years past. In order to help your child excel on the M-STEP test, make sure they are present and on time on testing days, that they have had a good night’s sleep, and a nutritious breakfast (available to all students for free in our cafeteria). All grades (3rd through 5th) will be tested in English Language Arts and Mathematics. In addition, the 4th graders will take the Science test and the 5th graders will be tested in Social Studies. As all tests will be administered first thing in the morning, it is very important that students are on time. Please avoid making appointments on your child’s testing dates. All students who are present and arrive on time each of the scheduled test days will enter their name for a gift card drawing at the end of the testing schedule. The name of one boy and one girl from each grade level will be drawn. So make sure they are here and on time!
