All bookings must be made directly to Terry and Leonie Walsh or Darren Telford or Greg Gerry. A non-refundable handling/booking fee of $300-00 is payable on or prior to the mare arriving at stud. The remainder of the service fee of $1075-00 (Incl GST) is payable on a positive pregnancy test prior to the mare leaving Whitmere, or prior to the mare leaving Whitmere. 2. Should the mare be determined not in foal, abort or give birth to a dead foal then a Veterinarian’s Certificate and written notification providing suitable details must be issued to the stallion owners within 7 days. 3. The mare owner must provide the stallion owners with a Veterinarian’s Certificate stating a positive pregnancy (45 days). 4. The stallion owners shall issue a Service Certificate at the end of the program. 5. It is the mare owner’s responsibility to liaise with the stallion owners and advise the stallion owners of the mare’s status – pregnant or empty. 6. Live Foal Guarantee shall only apply to a mare with a proven breeding history. In the case of a maiden or elderly a Veterinarian’s Certificate recommending the mare as suitable to the program will be required. 7. Life Foal Guarantee agrees should a mare be deemed suitable by the vet/technician undertaking the natural service fail to give birth to a live foal, then the following season the mare owner can choose either to:A) Send the mare back to stud, with a non-refundable handling fee of $300-00 to be paid + agistment costs to Whitmere Stud. 2 NATURAL SERVICE CONTRACT AT WHITMERE STUD PENDLEY GOLD CUP (Imp) 2009 – 2010 Breeding Season 8. It is the responsibility of the mare owner to register the foal and insure that the procedure is in accordance as prescribed by the Riding Pony Stud Book Society Ltd. The stallion owners agree to provide necessary documentation to the Society and/or to the mare owners. 9. All transportation fees and handling costs are the responsibility of the mare owner. 10. Agistment costs are the mare owner’s responsibility. 11. All veterinary costs are the mare owner’s responsibility. 12.
