The librarians here provide me with an area where I feel calm and capable of doing my work, and that is much appreciated.
The Library here at Pittsford is always accommodating to our students needs. The atmosphere is always one full of intimacy,
confidence, and openness, and I always know I can count on this location for help with my busy student lifestyle. The
librarians are kind and always helpful to answer your questions, or otherwise direct you to the next best resource. This is truly
the place where intelligence buds and grows, and it is proven in the minds of all of the graduated Mendon students who have
relied on this place in the past and who have gone on to do great things.

Very nice librarians
There is a wide selection of book to read and to use for studies. The staff is courteous and helpful and there is also a wonder
computer lab for students to work. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable; perfect for studying or quiet time.
Our library is the best. The atmosphere is great and there is a multitude of stations where one can study, create, experiment,
and even socialize (at certain times). The librarians are kind, generous, and create great relationships with all of us which
helps add to this astounding atmosphere.
I Find the People in the library very helpful.
The librarians are always willing to help my daughter with her research. They go out of their way to help students do their
best.

The staff are so helpful and they always make sure that we get what we need -- if the library does not have something, they
help us get it quickly elsewhere. The Library is also open to collaborating with others, such as when our students worked on a
Service Learning Project for Presidents Day. The Presidents Room in the Library is home to our George Washington portrait
gift from Mt. Vernon and was the inspiration for the Community event that we held at the Memorial Art Gallery over the
February Presidents Week recess. Thank you!!!

I love my library for many reasons. the librarians are lovely. There are a plethora of computers, and it is a warm welcoming
environment. There are several areas to sit, and even quiet study and conference rooms. There are also magazines and
newspapers to read during free time. It is an easy place to work, or relax during my free periods.
The library staff is always helpful, the library has a huge collection of books, and the atmosphere of the library is always
relaxed and friendly.
There is lots of room to work, study, and do homework all day. They also have a large variety of books to check out with ease.
The staff is caring and supportive, the books are plentiful and available, and technology is seamlessly incorporated to ensure
adequate opportunities for wide-ranging research.
They give us free materials and hugs

friendly and helpful and deserve to be recognized for this.

Our library paraprofessionals along with the Miss Hollinger herself are constantly willing to help us students, and maintain
the peaceful nature of the library. Over the three years of being a member of Mendon High School, I have only been pleased
by the resources and people that make me a better student and person as a whole.

At Pittsford Mendon, the library's atmosphere is great as our librarians often joke around and have conversations with us.
Despite this, the library is also a coven for many, a quiet place where we can study, read, or just relax. The many tables
available provide great workplaces for us, and the quiet study room and the conference room allow us to study hard in quiet
solace or debate loudly over important topics separate from the rest of the library. Overall, the Pittsford Mendon High School
Library has to be the library of the year.
The MHS Library has always provided a welcoming environment for my son (a senior) to study and to access materials needed
for school projects as well as for leisure reading. The librarians are always helpful and knowledgeable.
The staff is warming and makes me feel good being there, I can connect with them even though I'm not the biggest reader.
When I have a project to do they are so helpful and it's easy to find things in the clean and organized environment

The Mendon High School Library is a useful and productive place, with friendly people always willing to lend a hand and a
great environment for working and studying.
Our library media specialist is very good at finding ways to incorporate the Library standards into my existing plans in the
World Language department. For example, I have a project in which students create a "beach-themed" vocabulary
PowerPoint. She was able to help students identify better sources for much higher quality pictures for their projects AND
teach them about proper citations for pics! The results were much better! And students learned the vocabulary much
quicker with this high quality visual aids.

This library is easily the best. The purpose for its awesomeness spawns from the leadership that then trickles down. Mrs.
Shaw and Mrs. Ruffinio's fun loving, and awesome approach is the reason that I am always in here. I am always stoked to
come to do some work (or just hang with friends - shh don't tell), and this is the perfect place to do so.

This is a great library!
Our library is the best of them all with awesome resources and teachers
The librarians are super helpful, they always cater to your needs. The library is a perfectly cozy small size, with more books
than I could imagine. I can always get a ton of work done here, especially with the quiet study room available.
This library has fantastic staff who go above and beyond to help support our Mendon students. The MHS Library is a terrific
place!!

The staff at the MHS Library are friendly, knowledgeable and fun! They make the library a welcoming place and help our
students in countless ways every day!!
All the staff members provide help for students and teachers alike in a setting that is quiet but supportive of collaborative
work among students. The librarian helps teachers use sites other than Wikipedia to find information that is the most
accurate. She is also amazing at finding full journal articles that are not available through the Internet.
The library is a great place to get work done without being interrupted.
I love my library because it gives me a quiet and functional work space for my friends and I. I also like it because it has lots of
tools I can use if I don't have the time to get them at the store.

I have worked in public schools for twenty years - across three states and four schools. I have never worked with a more
dedicated library staff than right here at MHS. Our librarian, Elizabeth Hollinger, is a true academic leader, strong advocate
for students, and enthusiastic colleague. She has worked tirelessly to create an atmosphere for students and staff that is
welcoming, organized, and useful. From selecting valuable research resources to planning Valentine-making parties, she and
her staff manage to make the library both a place of learning and a place of fun. Warm, inviting, and invaluable for
intellectual pursuits, the Mendon High School library is a standout.
