There are one, two and three bedroom villas,
cottages and apartments. All accommodation
can access the wonderful village life, natural
bushland setting and active bird-life. With 135
apartments in total, there are 200 independent
residents maintaining an active lifestyle.

Rowland Village offers a wealth of activities
and services including 24/7 care staff and
emergency call service, restaurant, hair and
beauty salon, auditorium, heated swimming
pool and spa, craft room, woodwork room,
3-hole golf course, vege gardens, billiards,
indoor bowls and outdoor chess set. There
is also our comprehensive recreation and
activities program including morning teas,
walking club, movie matinees, and much more.
All residents have access to our excellent bus
service with frequent trips to shops and local
points of interest as well as regular
social outings.
Mark Donaldson VC House at Rowland VIllage,
Galston is a living community for 66 seniors who
require high care, low care, residential aged care
including dementia or nursing home services.
There is around-the-clock presence and influence
of registered nurses and care assistants. The
home is designed for people who need medical/
rehabilitative and restorative care. The living
spaces include wide halls, handrails and nurse
centres. Residents live in single rooms with
private ensuites, with some ‘couples’ rooms also
available, and share community rooms for planned
daily activities, socials and dining. Meals are
prepared based on individual dietary needs.
The type and amount of care a person receives is
dependent on what is needed to maintain his or
her ‘normal’ lifestyle and includes assistance with
basic activities of daily living (eating, bathing and
grooming, toilet help, dressing, transport, etc) in
which a resident may require help or supervision.
Skilled Care is provided for those who need
medical or nursing care or rehabilitative services
for the rehabilitation of injured, disabled or sick
persons.
All our residential aged care services provide
assistance with daily activities. Specialist dementia
care accommodation gives residents the best
quality life in a safe and supportive environment.
A personalised activities program is also available
to all residents.

RSL LifeCare is a charitable organisation
that was formed in 1911 to provide care
and service to war veterans. Services were
initially provided at Bare Island, Botany
Bay, until moving to Narrabeen in 1939.
From small beginnings providing care and
service to just a handful of war veterans,
the organisation has grown to be one of the
largest senior living services
in Australia.
Caring for 5,000 people across Independent
Living, Community Care, Assisted Living,
Dementia and Nursing Home, we have
developed an extensive range of services
that fosters independence and provides
social, clinical, emotional and spiritual
support.
