Day 3
Morning Prayer
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen
Let us remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.
Lord, today is Wednesday of Holy Week, the day before you would celebrate a meal with a
group of your best friends. Today, we refer to that meal as the last supper. But, I wonder, did
you know that would be the last meal with your friends, and then, you would be crucified? Did
you even have a sense of what was playing out behind the scenes? And even if you did know,
would you have loved your friends any less? Would you have cancelled the meal, or locked the
doors? I don’t think so. I like to think that today, the day before the last supper, You were
enjoying being with your friends; I believe that you were preaching the good news; I believe
that you were laughing with the children and sharing stories with neighbors at the well. I
believe that you were not dreading tomorrow, but that you were loving today. None of us know
what waits for us tomorrow; help us to celebrate the joy of living today, Lord, every minute is
gift. Amen.
St. John Baptist de LaSalle… PRAY FOR US.
Live Jesus in our hearts…
FOREVER,
THANK GOD ALMIGHTY...
I AM A RAIDER.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen
Please face the flag for the Pledge of Allegiance
Morning Announcements
There is NO AM or PM bus service tomorrow.
Congratulations to the Varsity Baseball Team for their exciting win yesterday over Shaw by a
score of 2-1. Chris Boudreaux got the win. They are now 14-9 and 3-0 in district.
Congratulations to the Rummel Choir who sang for the Chrism Mass at the Cathedral yesterday.
The choir offered a true example of Raider Pride at its finest. Their voices not only led but also
inspired the congregation celebrating this Mass of Holy Week to “sing joyfully to the Lord” This
was the first time Rummel was invited to sing at this special mass, and these students did not
disappoint. Job very well done, gentlemen.
Congratulations to the district champion Rummel Bowling team on a great season.
