ZONE CROSS COUNTRY
Dear Parents and Carers,
Congratulations! Your child has been selected to compete in the Ryde Zone PSSA Cross Country Carnival in their
age group. The carnival is on Thursday 21st May 2015. All competitors are required to travel by bus, departing
school at 9.30am and returning by 3.15pm. Competitors will be provided with a zone team singlet the day
before. Singlets must be returned before the end of the carnival day.
Drinks, lunch and morning tea all need to be taken to the carnival. Full sports uniform, including the school hat
must be worn and wet weather gear and sunscreen is recommended. Please ensure that your child brings warm
clothes to change into when they are not racing, including a jacket and long pants. Spare shoes may be required
if the grass is wet. Running spikes are not permitted. Children can bring towels or plastic sheeting to sit on.

$13.00 (due Tuesday 19th May 2015)
Please advise the school immediately if your child is unable to attend the carnival.The first 6 places in each race
will go on to compete at the Area Carnival on Thursday 11th June 2015. Parents are welcome to come along on
the day to support the children and enjoy the carnival. If you are available to assist on the day, please outline
this on the note below.

enclosed $13.00 to cover costs of bus fare and carnival entry.
