Our path to sisterhood began in the late 1930s with a group of women known as
En Amie. In the 1960s with a desire to become a recognized organization at Western
Kentucky University this group became Epsilon Alpha. In March of
1965 Epsilon Alpha was chartered as the Delta Tau Chapter of Phi Mu Fraternity.

A WKU shuttle will make a continuous loop beginning at the Holiday Inn at 9:30 a.m. with a final
return trip to the hotel at 2:00 p.m. Phi Mu sisters and WKU Spirit Masters will be available to
answer questions and provide tours of the following campus locations:
• Phi Mu House, 1553 Chestnut Street
• Augenstein Alumni Center, 292 Alumni Avenue. The AAC was dedicated in 2013 and contains
30,000 square feet devoted to the alumni of WKU.
• Downing Student Union (formerly DUC) and bookstore, 1524 Avenue of Champions. The
DSU recently underwent a $50 million renovation. You will have many choices for lunch if you
want to eat while you are on the Hill…..Red Zone, Fresh Food Co., Burrito Bowl, Papa John’s,
Chick-Fil-A, Steak and Shake, and Starbucks.
• Phi Mu Chapter Room in Meredith Hall (Phi Mu Carnation Catalog merchandise will be
available for purchase.) Dress - Casual
