MIChemE) KEY INFORMATION INSTALL DATE: AUGUST 2013 TEST PERIOD: 7 MONTHS REPORTED SAVINGS: 16.1% The Performance of EndoThermTM was tested in a domestic semi-detached property INTRODUCTION The domestic performance of Endo Enterprises (UK) Ltd’s EndoThermTM was tested in a semi-detached house in Timperley, South Manchester. The property has 3 bedrooms with with a large side extension and a total of 12 radiators. The property has existing energy saving measures including roof and cavity wall insulation . The property is powered by a Worcester Bosch Combi-Boiler and currently has an inhibitor installed. A total of 500ml of EndoThermTM was installed into this domestic property on the in August 2013. RESULTS The recorded usage using actual gas bills from the 1st Sep 2013 until the end of February 2014 were compared with the same figures for the year before the EndoThermTM installation. For the purpose of this test, the results were compensated using degree day information from a nearby weather station at Manchester Airport. The weather has been notably milder in 2013/2014 compared with the year before. Uncompensated savings were as high as 31.75%.
