The Bear Club is designed to allow alumni to enjoy their weekend while knowing
that their children will be entertained and cared for by licensed and bonded temporary professional nannies from TLC for Kids assisted by Washington University staff and students. The Bear Club is divided into three recommended
tracks to ensure age appropriate and engaging activities for all participants.
Wash U
Legacies
Ages 12-18
Older children will
explore many facets
of campus life at
Wash U. Activities
include a Chef’s Tour with a cooking demo
and tasting and a workshop with the
Mama’s Pot Roast Improv Group.
Cub Club
Ages 3-11
Children will participate in
engaging activities
that are both exciting
and educational.
Activities include arts and crafts and a Mad
Science presentation. Children will also enjoy a magic show and decorating a
T-shirt.

Ages 2 and Under

Child care is available
for infants and
toddlers during both
Bear Club sessions.
Care and age
appropriate activities will be provided by
staff from TLC, and supervised by Washington University staff. Parents will
need to provide any necessary supplies.

need it, we are equipped to handle
most minor medical emergencies.
Please ask for assistance.
Computer Access: A computer with
internet access will be available for
limited use by alumni and guests at
the Welcome Center.
Check-In: Visit the Welcome Center to
receive your official registration packet,
including your water bottle, name tag,
and event guide. Registration packets
will also be available at the Taste of
Wash U Welcome Reception, the Alumni
BBQ, and Class Parties. 25th Reunion
celebrants can also pick up their
registration packets at the 25th Reunion
Recognition Reception and Ceremony
on Friday.
Name Tags
Onsite Registration: Welcome Center

onsite for events and tours throughout
the weekend.
Guests participating in our many
reservation-recommended events will
need to check in upon arriving at the
events. No tickets will be provided.
Registered guests will be included on
a guest list at the entrance to each
event.

During Reunion, name tags are
required to access many weekend
events. For that reason, we ask that
alumni and guests wear their official
name tag to all events. If your name
tag is lost or incorrect, visit the
Welcome Center to request a new
name tag.

Smoke Free Policy: All university
spaces are non-smoking.
Water Bottle Policy: Because of concerns about the environmental
impact of bottled water, the University
no longer sells bottled water or offers
bottled water at events. Faculty, staff,
students, and guests are encouraged
to use the drinking fountains and use
reusable water containers.
Campus Stores
Campus Parking: Parking may be limited.
Complimentary parking is available
for guests in the Danforth University
Center Garage all day on Friday and
Saturday. Friday after 4 p.m. and all
day Saturday and Sunday, guests may
park in any yellow spaces on campus.
Transportation: Class Party shuttles
will run Saturday evening, April 18,
between the preferred hotels and
Class Parties, located on and off
campus. For taxi service, call County

For shuttle service to the Saint Louis Art Museum, please arrive at Mallinckrodt for your
designated shuttle. Your designated shuttle is Line 7. The shuttle will depart at 6 p.m. and
return every 20 minutes.
* At the end of the evening, your shuttle will stop on campus and at each hotel to drop
off guests.
Shuttles will depart Class Party venues between 10–10:30 p.m.

Class of 2014 at the Chase Park Plaza: 212 N. Kingshighway
From campus, turn left onto North Skinker Boulevard. Turn right
onto Lindell Boulevard. The Chase Park Plaza will be ahead on the corner of Kingshighway Boulevard and Lindell Boulevard on the left. Self-parking is available for $7/car and valet is available for $13/car.
Class of 1980 at the Saint Louis Art Museum: 1 Fine Arts Drive
From campus on Forsyth Boulevard, cross North Skinker Boulevard to
Lagoon Drive into Forest Park. Turn right up the hill onto Fine Arts Drive.
Valet will be available outside of Taylor Hall-East Building.
