Circle of Prayer:
At this Easter Season, we give thanks to
parishioners, members of the Visiting the Wise Group and Tuesday
attendees at Leopardstown Park Hospital who are praying for the
children preparing for First Holy Communion and who attend the
parish schools or St Michael’s House. The children prepared brightly
coloured name cards and many parishioners chose one at the end of
daily/weekly mass. A number of parishioners have been in touch to
find out when the child they are praying for is receiving the
Sacrament of First Holy Communion. The dates are as follows: St
Mary’s – 25th April; Our Lady of the Wayside and Gaelscoil Thaobh
na Coille – 9th May, St Michael’s House: 11th May; Holy Trinity and
St Patrick’s – 16th May; Church of Ireland – 23rd May. The children
and their families appreciate that they are part of a parish “circle of
prayer” leading up to the sacrament of First Eucharist.

LITURGICAL RESOURCE CENTRE
A number of evenings coming up in the coming weeks would be
of interest to those involved/or who would like to be involved in
a ministry team in the parish. All are held at the same venue,
Holy Cross College, Clonliffe.

O God, we thank you for the witness of those among us who have chosen a vocation to the consecrated life.

priests. Show us your plans for the renewal of faith of Ireland and give us all the grace we need to

Friday 17th April for their annual fund-raiser for the parish.

On Sunday May 10th, Sandyford Parish are heading back
Life in the Spirit Seminars, Monday nights St Mary’s
Beginning this Monday, the 13th April, Youth 2000 will be
running the “Life In The Spirit Seminars”, a 7-week course
which helps to deepen our relationship with Christ and
understand more fully the power of the Holy Spirit working in
our lives. Open to all ages, especially young adults. Contact

Goes to the Diocese for distribution towards the livelihood of
all its Priests including those sick or retired.
Second Collection : €1,762.
Goes to Diocese to fund Diocesan, Administration, Pastoral
Workers and the upkeep of Church Property.

event will go towards the ongoing maintenance and care of
our 3 beautiful Churches, St. Mary’s, Our Lady of the
Wayside and St. Patrick’s. Come and support your local

racing. Tables of 10 can be purchased for €1,000and
individual tickets are available for €100. A ticket includes a
