Monday of Holy Week
Lenten Penance Service: Our Lenten Penance
service is scheduled for March 30, 2015 at 10:00
a.m. to 12:00N p.m. and at 7:00 p.m. in the main
Church. This is a wonderful opportunity to prepare
for Holy Week and to celebrate the Resurrection of our
Lord.
The live stations of the cross will be at 3:00p.m. on April 3, 2015 held outside
church grounds.
El Via Crucis será a las 3:00p.m. el viernes santo, 3 de abril del 2015, afuera
Divine Mercy Novena: The Divine
Mercy Novena will begin at 6:00p.m. in
the main church on Good Friday. On Holy
Saturday the Chaplet will also begin at
6:00p.m. Ester Sunday the Chaplet will
be prayed at 7:00pm and every day after,
leading up to Divine Mercy Sunday (April
12th), it will be prayed at 7p.m. All will be
held in the main church.

I strongly encourage that everyone in the parish please
take the opportunity to participate in this wonderful
tradition. I especially encourage all parish groups and
organizations to participate in the parish Stations of
the Cross.

educate Seminarians for the Diocese. The
Fund is also used to make low interest loans to
parishes for their building programs. This has
been a project of the Austin Diocesan Council
of Catholic Women since 1948.

What a Week for Jesus
The Youth Ministry Program presented the reenactment of the Lords’ passion entitled: What a
Week for Jesus. Thank you to the youth for their
participation, hard work, and dedication. A big
thank you goes out to the director Maria Gonzales and her assistances and
to our singer: Cynthia Cantu.

this announcement applies to you! If you are planning to baptize your child/
ren in the year 2015 in the months of April, May, or June. We ask that you
come to an orientation session on Tuesday April 7, 2015 at 6pm in the Parish Hall. At this orientation, Mary Arana will share all the information and
paperwork you will need in order to baptize here at San José. If you miss
this orientation, you may come into the office during the week. We will
ask you to attend the next orientation which will be posted in the bulletin
at a later time for July, August, and September 2015.

Infertility, Miscarriage and Adoption Support

Infertility & Miscarriage Support: Sarah’s Hope & Abraham’s Promise is a spiritual support program
for couples struggling with infertility and miscarriage. Based on Catholic teaching, we combine the
wisdom of modern medicine with the healing power of the Catholic Church. We offer a women’s Bible
study support group, couples healing retreats and prayer services throughout the year.
Adoption Support: Destined: Families Built by Love is a spiritual support program and monthly
playgroup for adoptive families. Anyone who has built their family through the miracle of adoption
is invited to meet with other families to share the joys and challenges of adoption and fostering. The
playgroup meets once a month in different areas of Austin.
Santa Cruz Catholic School Cardinal Run, Wellness Fair and Carnival: Come join us at our
community event for the whole family on Saturday, April 11, 2015. This year’s activities includes the
Cardinal 5K Run and Kids K, Wellness Fair with a variety of health screenings and information, Carnival
with rides and games, Rummage Sale, Silent Auction, Live Auction, and BBQ Lunch. The 5K start at 8:15
a.m. followed by the Kids K. All other events start at 10:00 a.m. This event supports the Tuition Assistance

FIELD OF FLOWERS - APRIL 12th
Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery and Prayer Gardens will hold its annual Field of Flowers Day on
