NETBALL BALL KID PROMOTION
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Information on how to enter, mechanics of entry and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. This is a game of
skill and chance plays no part in determining winners.
ELIGIBILITY
2. Entry is only open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years or older (Entrants).
The directors, management and employees (and their immediate families, including their children
and wards) of the Promoter, its related entities, corporations or franchisees, printers, suppliers,
providers and agencies whom are directly associated with the conduct of this promotion are
ineligible to enter the promotion.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD
3. The promotion starts at 12.01am (ACST) on 11/05/2015 and ends at 11.59pm (ACST) on
31/05/2015 (Promotional Period).
4. The Promotional Period will be divided into three (3) promotional weeks, commencing each
Monday at 12:01am (ACST) and closing each Sunday at 11:59pm (ACST) during the Promotional
Period, for the purpose of determining Weekly Prize winners in this promotion (each, a
Promotional Week).
HOW TO ENTER – WEEKLY PRIZE
5. To enter a Minor Prize Judging, Entrants must, during a Promotional Week:
a. go to the San Remo page on Facebook at www.facebook.com/sanremopasta
(Promotional Page);
b. comment on a post by the Promoter containing the weekly question on the
Promotional Page (Weekly Question) in the manner required. To ‘comment’ in this
context means to select a ‘comment’ icon on the post on the Promotional Page and to
submit a ‘comment’ to the Weekly Question.
6. Only one (1) entry per person is permitted per Promotional Week. Any subsequent entry after the
first valid entry is received will be deemed invalid.
HOW TO ENTER – MAJOR PRIZE
7. To enter the Major Prize Judging, Entrants must, during the Promotional Period:

a. purchase any two (2) San Remo packs from a participating store (each an Eligible
Purchase);
b. go to the San Remo website at www.sanremo.com.au (Promotional Website); and
c.
fully and correctly complete and successfully submit the online entry form in the
manner required, including providing their name, contact number, residential address,
current and valid email address, entering the barcode from each Eligible Purchase,
and answering in twenty-five (25) words or less the Promotional Question: How does
San Remo make everyday special for the netball family.
8. Multiple entries per person is permitted into the Major Prize Judging.
9. Each Entrant must retain and may be required to present proof of purchase of each Eligible
Purchase in order to claim a prize. If an Entrant is unable to provide proof of purchase for all
entries made within the required timeframes, then all the entries of that Entrant will be ineligible
and deemed invalid. Proof of purchase includes showing the original or providing a photocopy of
the Purchase Receipt for each Eligible Purchase made during the Promotional Period. Purchase
Receipts must clearly specify where the Eligible Purchase was made and that the Eligible
Purchase was made during the Promotional Period but prior to entry.
10. Costs associated with accessing the Promotional Website remain an Entrant’s responsibility and
may vary depending on the Internet service provider used.
11. The use of any automated entry software or any mechanical, electronic or other means that allows
an Entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by
that Entrant invalid.
12. Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of
transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter. Incomplete, inaccurate,
erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no
responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. Contact details entered incorrectly by an Entrant
on their entry form will deem their entry invalid.
PRIZE JUDGING
13. Weekly Prizes: Each Promotional Week will have its own judging at 4 Boden Court, Windsor
Gardens, South Australia 5087 within two (2) business days after the close of each Promotional
Week (each, a Minor Prize Judging). All eligible entries received during a Promotional Week will
entered into the corresponding Minor Prize Judging for that Promotional Week. Entries for each
Promotional Week must be received by the Promoter during the Promotional Week to be eligible
for the corresponding Minor Prize Judging. Entries received in a given Promotional Week are only
eligible for the corresponding Minor Prize Judging and will NOT rollover into any subsequent Minor
Prize Judging(s). All eligible entries received during a Promotional Week will be judged by a panel
of appropriately qualified judges on a basis of originality and creative merit to determine one (1)
winner per Promotional Week. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the
winners. The winners will be notified in writing within two (2) days of each Minor Prize Judging. All
reasonable steps to notify winners of the results of the Minor Prize Judging will be taken by the
Promoter. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. Major Prize: All eligible entries into the Major Prize Judging will be judged by a panel of
appropriately qualified judges by 8 June 2015 at 4 Boden Court, Windsor Gardens, South
Australia 5087 to determine one (1) winner (Major Prize Judging). All eligible entries will be
judged on the basis of originality and creative merit. This is a game of skill and chance plays no
part in determining the winner. The winner will be notified in writing by 15 June 2015. All
reasonable steps to notify the winner of the result of the Major Prize Judging will be taken by the
Promoter. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. For each Minor Prize Judging and for the Major Prize Judging, the Entrant whose entry is the best
judged entry must confirm their eligibility to be awarded the applicable prize and their ability to
accept and participate in the prize within two (2) business days of being successfully notified by
the Promoter that their entry has been judged as the best judged entry, otherwise their entry will
be deemed invalid. In the event that the Promoter cannot successfully contact the Entrant who

submitted the best judged entry within two (2) business days of a Minor Prize Judging or the
Major Prize Judging, whichever is applicable, or in the event of an invalid entry or an ineligible
Entrant, or if the Entrant is ineligible to accept or declines to participate in the prize, the Promoter
may, in its sole discretion, award the prize to the next best judged entry. The Promoter will
continue this process until an Entrant has been successfully contacted and the Entrant has
confirmed their eligibility to be awarded the prize and ability to participate in the prize. For the
avoidance of doubt, only once an Entrant has confirmed their eligibility to be awarded the prize
and ability to participate in the prize will the Entrant, subject to these Conditions of Entry, be
deemed the winner of the judging.
PRIZES
16. Weekly Prizes: For each Minor Prize Judging, the entry judged to be the best from all eligible
entries received during the corresponding Promotional Week will win one (1) merchandise prize
consisting of team merchandise for their selected ANZ Championship netball team, valued at up
AUD$100.00. There are three (3) Weekly Prizes awarded in this promotion.
17. The winner of each Weekly Prize must inform the Promoter in writing of the selected sizes and
other requested details (as applicable) of all prize pack inclusions, as advised by the Promoter,
within fourteen (14) days from the date the winner is notified by the Promoter that they have won,
otherwise the entire prize pack may be forfeited. Once the winner confirms their selection with the
Promoter, no changes may be made to the prize pack inclusions by the winner. No refunds,
returns or exchanges permitted if the winner selects an incorrect size or requests another colour
for any prize pack inclusion. Colour of prize pack inclusions is subject to availability. All ancillary
costs or accessories not expressly included are the responsibility of the winner.
18. Major Prize: For the Major Prize Judging, the entry judged to be the best from all eligible entries
received during the Promotional Period will win one (1) ANZ Championship Grand Final 2015
prize package for the winner and one (1) companion aged between 10-15 to be the San Remo
Ball Kid, valued at up to AUD $5000.00 depending on point of departure and the location of the
ANZ Championship Grand Final 2015. The Major Prize is comprised of the following elements:
a) one (1) adult and one (1) child return economy airfares to the capital city that hosts
the ANZ Championship Grand Final 2015 from the Australian or New Zealand capital
city closest to the ordinary residential address of the winner (inclusive of airfare
related taxes and charges). If the winner’s residential address is in the same capital
city as the ANZ Championship Grand Final 2015 or the metropolitan/regional area of
that capital city, this component of the prize is forfeited
b) one (1) night’s minimum 4 star accommodation at a hotel nominated by the Promoter
in its sole discretion in the capital city that hosts the ANZ Championship Grand Final
2015 from 21 June 2015 to 22 June 2015 (inclusive) (twin share or similar)
c) two (2) tickets to the ANZ Championship Grand Final 2015
19. The Major Prize must be taken on the dates nominated by the Promoter to coincide with the ANZ
Championship Grand Final 2015 otherwise the entire prize is forfeited. The precise dates,
destination city in Australia or New Zealand, accommodation and details of tickets to the ANZ
Championship Grand Final 2015 will be notified to the winner by the Promoter at least two weeks
in advance. No extension or variation of the dates nominated by the Promoter permitted. All
components of the prize must be taken together and when offered or are forfeited. ANZ
Championship Grand Final 2015 event organisers reserve the right in their absolute discretion to
change or amend the event program without notice. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for the
cancellation, rescheduling, change or delay of the event for any reason beyond the control of the
Promoter.
20. All additional costs not expressly stated, but which may be incurred in acceptance and use of the
Major Prize, are the responsibility of the winner and their companion (if any). Such additional costs
may include, but are not limited to travel and/or transport to and from the ANZ Championship
Grand Final 2015, other transfers, accommodation, meals and beverages, spending money,
insurance, travel insurance, passports and visas (if applicable). Winners may be required to
provide a credit card at time of accommodation check-in.

21. The Major Prize winner and their companion (if any) must conduct themselves in a responsible,
courteous and friendly manner at all times whilst participating in the prize. Acceptance of the prize
and participation in the prize is subject to any prevailing terms and conditions of ANZ
Championship Grand Final event organisers and any other prize suppliers, and in particular age,
health, behaviour and safety requirements. The winner and their companion (if any) must follow all
reasonable directions given by the Promoter and any event organiser or prize supplier during the
course of their participation in the prize, including all directions relation to age, health, behaviour
and safety. The Promoter and any event organiser or prize supplier reserve the right, in their
absolute discretion, to disqualify, sanction and/or eject the winner and their companion (if any)
from the ANZ Championship Grand Final 2015 or to refuse participation in certain activities, on the
grounds of inappropriate behaviour, for age, health or safety reasons, or for any breach of these
Conditions of Entry generally. If the winner and/or their companion (if any) fail to participate in the
prize in the manner required, as stated in this condition and in the reasonable opinion of the
Promoter, their entry and the balance of the prize will be forfeited with no compensation payable.
22. Redemption of the prize is subject to availability and may be dependent on travel class availability,
specific room category availability and travel blackout periods applying (including school holidays
and public holidays). A winner and their companion (if any) must travel together and depart from
and return to the same departure point. A winner and their companion (if any) may not accumulate
frequent flyer points. The prizes cannot be used in conjunction with travel discounts and special
offers. Travel and accommodation are to be arranged by a licensed travel agent nominated by the
Promoter.
23. The Promoter reserves the right to request a winner’s companion (if any) produce (within the
requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter’s
satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm the companion’s (if any) identity and age
before issuing the prize.
GENERAL
24. Total maximum prize pool value awarded in this promotion is up to AUD$5,300.00. Prizes are not
transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash (unless otherwise indicated). A prize
must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax
implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be
sought. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize values. All prize values
are the recommended retail price including GST where applicable, depending on point of
departure.
25. By entering the promotion, Entrants acknowledge and agree that their Entry or Entries may be
featured on the Promotional Website and Promotional Page and any other online platform
(including social media platforms) or audiovisual or print material of the Promoter for public
viewing for the duration of the Promotional Period and in perpetuity (unless otherwise requested).
26. Facebook membership, notifications, pages, applications and use of Facebook generally is subject
to its prevailing terms and conditions of use. The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or
administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants understand that they are providing their
information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Entrants are solely responsible and liable for
any content or information they transmit to other Internet users. To the extent permitted by law,
each Entrant agrees to indemnify, defend and forever hold harmless, Facebook and its associated
agencies and companies, against any and all losses, actions, claims, costs, expenses and
damages (of any nature) which may be incurred by an Entrant in respect of the Entrant’s
participation in the promotion. Any questions, comments or complaints about the promotion must
be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
27. Entrants can only enter in their own name. Entrants who provide incorrect, misleading or
fraudulent information are ineligible to participate in the promotion and all entries of an Entrant
who is deemed by the Promoter to have provided incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information
may, at the discretion of the Promoter, be deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right to
request the Entrant produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other
documentation (to the Promoter’s satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm the
Entrant’s identity, age, residential address, eligibility to enter and claim a prize, and any
information submitted by the Entrant in entering the promotion, before issuing a prize. If the
documentation required by the Promoter is not received by the Promoter (or its nominated agent)

or an Entrant or entry has not been verified or validated to the Promoter’s satisfaction then all the
entries of that Entrant will be ineligible and deemed invalid.
28. It is a condition of accepting a prize that a winner may be required to sign a legal release or
releases in a form determined by the Promoter and/or any prize supplier in its or their absolute
discretion.
29. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of any and all entries and reserves the right to
disqualify any Entrant for: (a) tampering with the entry process; (b) submitting an entry which is not
in accordance with these Conditions of Entry; or (c) if the Entrant is engaged in any unlawful or
other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.
The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are
reserved. Prizes will only be awarded where the barcode fulfils all of the requirements of the
Promoter's verification tests and procedures. The verification tests and procedures shall be
determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
30. If a prize or element of a prize becomes unavailable, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s
reasonable control, then a comparable prize or prize element of equal or greater value will be
awarded in lieu, subject to any written directions made under applicable State, Territory or New
Zealand legislation.
31. If this promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter, including but not limited to war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster
(including natural disaster), infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised
intervention, technical failures or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security,
fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole
discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and/or, if necessary, to provide
an alternative prize or prizes to the same value as an original prize or prizes, subject to any written
directions made under applicable State, Territory or New Zealand legislation.
32. The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies excludes all liability (including negligence)
except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (including any applicable Consumer
Guarantee under the Consumer Laws), for any direct or indirect injury, loss and/or damage arising
in any way out of the promotion. This includes, but is not limited to: (i) technical malfunctions,
delays or failures, including those resulting from accessing any materials related to this promotion
and any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of, or in
connection with, this promotion as a result of any technical malfunctions, delays or failures; (ii)
theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (iii) lost or damaged entries, prize claims or
prizes; and/or (iv) acceptance and/or use of any prize. Applicable manufacturers and/or
distributors should be contacted in regards to all prize warranty claims.
33. As a condition of entering this promotion, an Entrant consents to, in the event they are a winner,
the Promoter using the Entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film
and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further
notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing
the promotion (including any outcome), and/or promoting any products or services manufactured,
distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. The Entrant agrees that, in the event they are a
winner, to participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to the Promotion as
requested by the Promoter and its agents. As a condition of participating in a prize, a winner's
companion (if any) also consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice
(including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in the manner set out in this condition
and agrees to participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to a prize as requested
by the Promoter and its agents and sign any additional documents reasonably required by the
Promoter to give effect to this condition.
34. An entry and any copyright subsisting in an entry irrevocably becomes, at time of entry, the
property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects Personal Information about an Entrant to include
the Entrant in the promotion and, where appropriate, award prizes. If the Personal Information
requested is not provided, the Entrant cannot participate in the promotion and is deemed
ineligible. An Entrant also agrees that the Promoter may, in the event the Entrant is a winner,
publish or cause to be published the Entrant winner’s name and locality in any media. An Entrant
can gain access to, update or correct any Personal Information held by the Promoter by accessing

the San Remo website. A copy of the Promoter’s Privacy Policy in relation to the treatment of
Personal Information collected may be obtained by contacting the Promoter.
35. If the Promoter collects an Entrant’s Personal Information, the Promoter will provide to the Entrant,
at time of entry into the promotion, a collection statement that details the Personal Information
being collected, the purpose of its collection, where the Personal Information will be stored and
how it will be shared with third parties. The collection statement will comply with the Promoter’s
disclosure obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and under the Privacy Act 1993 in New
Zealand.
36. By participating in the promotion, an Entrant also acknowledges that a further primary purpose for
collection of the Entrant’s Personal Information by the Promoter is to enable the Promoter to use
the information to assist the Promoter in improving goods and services and to contact the Entrant
in the future with information on special offers or to provide the Entrant with marketing materials
via any medium including mail, telephone and commercial electronic messages (SMS (Short
Message Service), MMS (Multimedia Message Service), IM (Instant Messaging) and email) or any
other form of electronic, emerging, digital or conventional communications channel whether
existing now or in the future. The Promoter may share information with its Australian and New
Zealand related companies or promotional partners who may contact the Entrant with special
offers in this way. By entering the promotion, an Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the
Promoter may use the Entrant’s Personal Information in the manner set out in this condition.
37. In these Conditions of Entry: “Consumer Laws” means Schedule 2 of the Competition and
Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) in Australia and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 in New Zealand.
“Personal Information” means, for the purpose of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), information or an
opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether the
information or opinion is true or not and whether the information or opinion is recorded in a
material form or not and in New Zealand, for the purpose of the Privacy Act 1993, information
about an identifiable individual.
