“Win Yourself an Elf” - Terms & Conditions
HOW TO ENTER
To enter, simply complete the required fields in the form provided including Why you deserve
a RedBalloon Elf in Your Office”. Three (3) winners will be chosen based on merit, with the
three (3) most creative entries receiving a RedBalloon Elf to help in their office for an
afternoon before Christmas 2012.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Submission of entry is deemed to be in acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Promotional period commences 21/11/12 and closes 7/12/12 at 5pm (AEDT)
("Promotional Period"). No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected claims.
3. The winner will be notified by email on Monday 10 December. The winner will agree
to a date between 12 – 21 December 2012 for a RedBalloon Elf to attend their
workplace to assist in tasks from 12 midday to 5pm on that day.
4. Should you fail to respond to the winning notification email or decide on a date to
claim your prize within 1 week of it being sent, you will forfeit your prize. Judges
decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
5. The RedBalloon Elf will only be available to assist in office based activities as
previously agreed between RedBalloon and the winning company.
6. The RedBalloon Elf will be a full-time employee of RedBalloon.
7. Multiple entries into the competition will be allowed.
8. All entrants must provide a valid Company Name, email address, telephone number
and their true full name to enter the promotion.
9. All entries must be made in the entrants’ name only. You may not enter on behalf of
anyone else and all information provided must be true and correct.
10. Employees of the Promoter, RedBalloon Pty Ltd (Australia), the Promoter's
associated companies, the Promoter's agencies associated with this promotion and
their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
11. Submission of an entry is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
Information on prizes, how to enter and how to claim prizes forms part of these terms
and conditions.
12. Any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions will be invalid.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, at any time during or
after the promotion, and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant (and ALL entries
submitted by that entrant) for tampering or interfering with the entry process or any
other activities which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. Failure of
the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of
those rights. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or
electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited
and will render all entries submitted from that source invalid.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, age
and residence. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of
the Promoter.
15. The prize awarded is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
16. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from
acceptance of the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
17. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death
whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) suffered or
sustained in connection with this promotion, as a result of taking or using any of the
prizes, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter and any
person associated with it, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
18. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but
not limited to technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other cause
beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration,
security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter
reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the
promotion.
