Annual Scout Day at Brevard Zoo
Brevard Zoo invites Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts to embark on an adventure designed just for
them during the Annual Scout Day at the Zoo on May 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Scouts and their families
can participate in a variety of activity stations, a team-building exercise where five scouts work together
to complete five challenges, special animal encounters and live demonstrations. Admission is $9 per
person plus Zoo admission, and scouts will receive a patch.
Scout Day can be enhanced with the Annual Scout Overnight on May 1 from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m.
This special sleepover includes a nighttime trek through the Zoo, animal encounters, games, dinner
and tons of fun! Cost is $50 per person and includes a patch for scouts and next-day admission to

For Scouts unable to attend Scout Day, the Zoo offers a variety of workshops that meet badge
requirements as well as private scout events such as Night Hikes and Overnights. For troops interested

Chutes and Ladders courses. Parking is always free. Twenty-five cents of every admission to Brevard Zoo
supports the Zoo’s conservation projects through Quarters for Conservation. Group discounts and adventure
