9Jumpin State of Origin 2015 Competition
(“Competition”)
Entry Instructions
To enter, entrants must:
1. Go online to http://www.9jumpin.com.au/show/state-oforigin/competitions/9jumpincomp ;
2. Follow the prompts to the online Competition entry form, fully and
correctly complete the requested details on the entry form, including
their full name, current and valid email address, State/Territory of
residence and mobile telephone number;
3. Agree to the Competition Conditions; and
4. Successfully submit the fully completed Competition entry form in the
manner required.
The Promoter takes no responsibility should an entrant not have the software,
hardware or internet access or data plan that would permit access to and use
of the Competition website.
Any cost associated with accessing the internet or downloading data on a
device is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service
provider used.
PRIVACY
Entrant personal information ("PI") will be collected to enable the Promoter to
administer and promote this Competition and its winners and, if an entrant
consents, may be used to market its services to the entrant. The PI of
winners may be provided to others assisting, including prize suppliers and
deliverers, and to authorities that regulate this Competition.
By participating in this Competition, in addition to any use that may be
outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, each entrant acknowledges and
consents to the Promoter marketing its services (including services of its
related businesses) to the entrant and sending (including via electronic
means) to the entrant news, events, offers and direct marketing messages
regarding products and services available through any or all of the Promoter’s
services. The Promoter will handle the entrants’ personal information in
accordance with its Privacy Policy and Personal Information Collection
Statement which is available at www.mi9.com.au/privacy. Any complaints
regarding the treatment of PI should also be directed to the Promoter using
the details set out in Condition 1.24 and will be dealt with by the Promoter in
accordance with its Privacy Policy. Entrants may contact the Promoter at the
address given below to request access to any of their collected PI that is still
held. If an entrant does not truthfully provide all requested PI, the Promoter
may determine that they are not eligible to win a prize. The Promoter will not
disclose any PI outside of Australia.

will win one (1) State of Origin Game 3

companion, to be taken on 08/07/2015
to 09/07/2015 in Brisbane,
Queensland, valued at up to $5,000.00
(depending on point of departure). The
State of Origin Game 3 prize (awarded
in draw 2) comprises of the following
components:

two (2) x return economy
airfares from the winner’s
nearest Australian

08/07/2015 and returning on

Additional Prize Terms and
Conditions:
The prizes must be taken on the dates
nominated by the Promoter to coincide
with the relevant State of Origin Game,
otherwise the entire prize is forfeited.
No extension or variation of the dates
nominated by the Promoter is
permitted. All components of the prizes
must be taken together and when
offered or are forfeited. The State of
Origin 2015 event organisers and prize
suppliers reserve the right in their
absolute discretion to change or
amend the scheduling of any State of
Origin Game without notice. The
Promoter accepts no responsibility for
the cancellation, rescheduling, change
or delay of any State of Origin Game
for any reason beyond the control of
the Promoter.
All additional costs not expressly
stated, but which may be incurred in
acceptance and use of the prizes, are
the responsibility of each winner and
their companion (if any). Such
additional costs include, but are not
limited to, additional spending money
(beyond allocated prize money), meals
and beverages, taxes including arrival
and departure taxes (if applicable) but
excluding airfare related taxes and
charges included in the prizes.
Insurance, transport to and from
departure point, transport to and from
the applicable State of Origin Game
location, other transfers, items of a
personal nature and in-room charges
are also not included.
During the entire duration of a prize, a
nominated parent/guardian must
accompany any person under 18 years
of age.
Redemption of the prizes is subject to
availability and may be dependent on
travel class availability and specific
room category availability. Each winner
and their companion (if any) must
depart from and return to the same
departure point and travel together.
The prize itinerary is to be determined
by the Promoter in its absolute
discretion. Each winner and their
companion (if any) may not accrue
frequent flyer points. Prizes are subject
to the standard terms and conditions of
individual prize and service providers.
The winners may be required to
present their credit card at time of
accommodation check-in. Travel and
accommodation are to be arranged by
the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
If for any reason a winner does not
take the prize (or an element of a
prize) at the time and on the date
stipulated by the Promoter in its
absolute discretion, then that prize (or
that element of the prize) will be
forfeited with no cash or other
compensation payable in lieu.
Acceptance of the prizes and
participation in the prizes in subject to
the prevailing terms and conditions of
the State of Origin 2015 event, venue
and ticketing organisers and prize
suppliers, and accommodation and
airfare providers, and in particular age,
health, behaviour and safety
requirements. The Premium Tickets
issued as part of the prizes will subject
to prevailing terms and conditions of
use. Each winner and their companion
(if any) must follow all reasonable
directions given by the Promoter and
any prize supplier or State of Origin
2015 event organiser during the
course of their participation in the
prize, including all directions relating to
age, health, behaviour, safety,
acceptable dress standards and
responsible consumption of alcohol.
The Promoter and any prize supplier or
State or Origin 2015 event organisers
hereby expressly reserve the right to
refuse entry into or eject from any
component of the prize any winner
and/or their companion (if any) for any
health, age, safety reasons or on the
grounds of inappropriate behaviour or
dress, including but not limited to
intoxication, or for breach of these
Conditions generally. If a winner and/or
their companion (if any) fail to
participate in the prize in the manner
required, as stated in this Condition
and in the reasonable opinion of the
Promoter, the balance of the prize will
be forfeited with no compensation
payable.

2. WHO MAY ENTER
The only persons who may enter and be awarded prizes are those who: (i)
are residents of the place specified in Condition 1.1; (ii) meet the criteria, if
any, specified in Condition 1.2; (iii) if an age is specified in Condition 1.3, have
attained the age specified in that Condition; and (iv) are not: (a) directors,
management or employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter or any of its
agencies involved with this Competition, or of any entity specified in Condition
1.4; or (b) members of the immediate family of any such directors,
management, employees or contractors.
"Immediate family" means spouse, defacto spouse, parent, natural or adopted
child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not
they live in the same household as the employee/contractor.
3. ENTRANTS BOUND BY CONDITIONS
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Conditions.
4. ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS
Entry instructions form part of these Conditions.
Where SMS entry is permitted, SMS entries may only be sent from the
entrant’s own mobile phone. SMS entries sent from other sources (eg
computers) are invalid.
5. AUTOMATIC AND NON-PERMITTED ENTRIES
Any entry that is not lodged by the entrant, that is lodged by automatic,
repetitive, robotic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents, including
the use of a competition entry service, will void all entries by that entrant.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to invalidate any entries which it
reasonably suspects have been submitted using false, incorrect, fraudulent or
misleading information, including but not limited to personal details and
contact information and/or which have been submitted through the use of
multiple identities, handsets, email addresses or accounts.
The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare any or all entries made
by an entrant invalid if the entrant: (i) fails to establish their entitlement to
enter the Competition to the Promoter's satisfaction; or (ii) submits an entry
which is not in accordance with these Conditions.
6. NUMBER OF ENTRIES PER ENTRANT
An entrant may enter no more than the number of times specified in Condition
1.5.
7. COST OF ENTRY
Where entry is permitted by SMS, 1900/1902 call or post, the cost of
submitting each permitted entry, including any GST, is as specified in
Condition 1.6.
8. DURATION
This Competition commences at the Sydney time specified in Condition 1.7 on
the date specified in Condition 1.8. Entries must be received by the Sydney
time specified in Condition 1.9 on the date specified in Condition 1.10.
There are a total of two (2) draws to be held in this Competition (see
Condition 9). Entry to each of those draws is open during the two (2) time
periods, as indicated in Conditions 1.10A and 1.10B. Each entry that is
received during any of those periods will be allocated to the draw for that
period.
9. DRAWS TO DETERMINE WINNERS
Each of the draws will take place at the address specified in Condition 1.11 at
the Sydney time specified in Condition 1.10C on the date specified in
Condition 1.10C. The Promoter’s decisions are final and the Promoter will not
enter into any correspondence.
10. PRIZE(S)
The prize(s), the method by which they are awarded, any additional
Conditions that apply to the prize(s), and their individual values in Australian
dollars, are as specified in Condition 1.12. The Promoter takes no
responsibility for any variations in prize values.
The maximum total value of all prizes in this Competition, in Australian dollars,
is as specified in Condition 1.13.
Except with the written consent of the Promoter, prizes are not transferable or
exchangeable and non-cash prizes cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter
has absolute discretion as to whether it will provide such consent and need
not provide any reasons to any person for providing or withholding consent.
If a prize, or any part of a prize, is “cash”, the “cash” will be transferred by
EFT, into the winner’s nominated personal bank account. Winners must
provide details of their nominated personal bank accounts in writing to the
Promoter within the time required by the Promoter.
In the event that any prize item is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the
right, subject to the approval of any relevant trade lottery authority, to
substitute a prize item of equal or greater value.
11. WINNER NOTIFICATION
The winner(s) will be notified by the means specified in Condition 1.14, using
the contact details provided in their entry.
12. WINNER PUBLICATION
The name and suburb of the winner(s) of prizes valued at more than $250 will
be published: (i) in the publication specified in Condition 1.15 (if any) on the
date specified in Condition 1.16 (if any); and (ii) on the website specified in
Condition 1.17, from the date specified in Condition 1.10D.
13. UNCLAIMED PRIZES
Subject, where relevant, to any written directions given under the legislation
regulating this Competition, if a prize is unclaimed by the winner drawn under
Condition 9, (i) that winner will forfeit all entitlement to their prize, and (ii) the
prize will then be awarded in a further draw to be held at the time, on the date
and at the place specified in Condition 1.20. Winners (if any) of the unclaimed
prize draw will be notified via the method outlined in Conditions 1.21 using the
contact details provided in their entry. The names and suburbs of the
winner(s) in this draw of prizes valued at more than $250 will be published in
the publication specified in Condition 1.21 on the date specified in Condition
1.23.
14. TAXES
Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of a winner receiving the
prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
15. NO QUALITY, ETC, REPRESENTATIONS
The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the
quality/suitability/merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as
prizes.
16. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
(i) inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information,
(ii) purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because
they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible,
incomplete, sent with insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent
other than as directed in the entry instructions,
(iii) any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any
telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or
providers, computer equipment, or software,
(iv) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by
traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website,
(v) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the Competition (including
without limitation manipulation or tampering with the entry process),
(vi) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the
Competition,
(vii) any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but
not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or
omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents,
in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or
services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any
family/persons accompanying a winner,
(viii) any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's
or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation or
downloading any materials in this Competition or participating in or using any
element of a prize.
A winner and their companion (if any) must sign and return any legal
documentation, including but not limited to a liability release and indemnity
provided by the Promoter and/or its contractors and/or any prize suppliers as
a condition of a prize being awarded. If a winner is under 18 years, a parent
or guardian must also sign any provided liability release and indemnity as a
condition of the prize being awarded. Failure to return the signed
documentation will result in the entitlement to the prize being forfeited and the
selection of another winner.
This condition does not affect, and is not intended to affect, any rights a
consumer might have, which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer
protection laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the
Promoter or its servant or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the
payment of the cost of having the prize supplied again.
17. OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES
All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter.
18. PUBLICITY
The winners consent to the use of their name, suburb of residence and image
for promotional and marketing purposes and agree to participate in
reasonable promotional activities as requested by the Promoter.
19. TAMPERING AND OTHER FAILURES
If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned,
including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, manipulation,
unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes
beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration
security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter
reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who
manipulates or tampers with the entry process or who may benefit from such
manipulation or tampering and, subject to the approval of those authorities
that have issued permits for the conduct of this Competition, to cancel,
terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE
OR THE INFORMATION ON A WEBSITE, OR TO OTHERWISE
UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS COMPETITION,
MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD
SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, WHETHER SUCCESSFUL OR NOT, THE
PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE
FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
20. HEADINGS
The headings in these Conditions are for convenience only and do not affect
interpretation.
21. ENTIRE CONDITIONS
These Conditions constitute the entire agreement of the parties relating to the
entry into and the conduct of this Competition.
22. PROMOTER
The Promoter is the entity specified in Condition 1.24.
23. PERMITS
The permits/licence issued for the conduct of this Competition are specified in
Condition 1.25.
