 Job Profile: Key Supporter Relationship Manager Context: The Partnership Team is passionate and determined to strengthen the movement of CAP supporters and churches inspired to give and act towards an end to UK poverty. We are driven to provide the finance and partnerships needed to see CAP’s vision of 3000 services by 2021 become a reality. Purpose: The Key Supporter Relationship Manager works to inspire new and existing Key Supporters into greater involvement with Christians Against Poverty. By hosting fundraising dinners, connecting supporters to key projects and building relationship the KSRM aims to draw supporters closer to the work we do. Income from CAP’s ‘Key Supporters’ is vital for the future expansion of CAP UK. Our Key Supporters are more than donors, they are a crucial part of the work we do. We are passionate about ensuring our supporters feel connected, engaged, inspired and committed to tackling poverty in the UK through CAP. To be accountable for our Key Supporters within a specific geographical region in the UK To speak to Key Supporters within the region over the year to persuade them to engage with dinners, project work or other strategies to increase their support of and engagement with CAP
Within that region host and fill a fundraising dinner each quarter
Support other Key Supporter Relationship Managers in their events, both at the events and in the lead up
Event manage Dinners and other Key Supporter events
Work with the team to host our largest Fundraising Dinner in London
Handle a caseload of donors from the region, with the aim of engaging them further with the work of CAP and generating project funds
To work with the Partnership Manager on all the key strategies and development of Key Supporter income and relationship growth
Ensuring Supporters are thanked for gifts donated to the charity promptly and appropriately
Regular reporting, analysing and planning of Key Supporters work
Phoning CAP supporters and volunteers with the aim of thanking them and increasing the support they give both financially and practically. Promoting and attending supporter events and fundraising dinners (up to 8 weekends per year).
