Calgary, Alberta, T2V 1P8 Ph: 403-258-7650 Summary of Site and Services Carewest Glenmore Park opened its doors to the Calgary community in 1963 and has since grown to offer programs and services for 147 sub-acute clients and other day-program clients at any given time. Its programs are as follows: Regional Community Transition Program (RCTP) To support frail individuals who do not require acute care but have a variety of medical conditions that require further assessment and/or rehabilitation in order to return home or another care setting. 93 beds Geriatric Mental Health Unit A short-stay program for seniors who have psychiatric disorders and require assessment and rehabilitation, but who do not need to be in acute care. 20 beds Meal Services Carewest Food Services strives to create and serve healthy, nutritious meals with friendly service in a relaxed environment. Most special dietary requirements can be met and we welcome feedback from clients and families. Musculoskeletal Unit For people over the age of 18 following an acute phase of musculoskeletal illness or who have had a bone or joint surgical procedure and require care and rehabilitation before returning home or to another care setting. 34 beds Day Hospital Program A short-term day program for frail seniors who are living at home and experiencing physical, mental, emotional or social concerns. The focus is to promote well-being, functional abilities and quality of life through assessment and treatment by an interdisciplinary team with geriatric expertise. Rooms All our private and semi-private suites come equipped with a three‐piece ensuite. Each suite is furnished with a bed, small nightstand and a wardrobe/closet. Glenmore Park is a completely smoke‐free environment. Carewest Glenmore Park is located adjacent to the Rockyview General Hospital and overlooks the Glenmore Reservoir.
