Team Dynamics While working independently and often outside the office, you are to become the face of the company as you develop relationships in the investment community. To take advantage of our client’s high quality products and services, the Manager BD will provide marketing leadership and support to the clients in Canada and the United States. The position reports to the President. Guidance and direction is provided through dotted line relationships with the other executives, maintaining strong communication and effective collaboration with the senior leadership. Activities and Responsibilities The successful candidate has the primary responsibility of creating an effective, elegant and efficient marketing and client relationship system for the organization. As the senior member of the company’s sales team, you will be expected to participate and contribute to establish, monitor and measure your business performance, planning, and continuous improvement activities. Key duties include: Create the marketing campaign, establish and work to deadlines. Ensure that the company has effective, efficient systems in place that is consistent with customer requirements, and which meets/exceeds their expectations. Identify and initiate list building for all pipelines appropriate to your business. As required, provide timely and accurate reports to management & employees with a standard consistent with company requirements. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in terms of systems, processes and practices and lead the implementation of them. Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, ethics and integrity in all dealings, consistent with a senior position. Be knowledgeable in all relevant regulations in your regions of operation and establish methods to monitor and report on effectiveness. Maintenance of existing clients is also a key responsibility. Skills and Experience Your background and education in marketing and the financial industry position you well to be effective in the execution of this role. People like you.
