Carewest Nickle House opened its doors to the Calgary community in 2000 and offers Designated Assisted Living
(DAL) services for 10 residents under the age of 65.
Designated Assisted Living
Offers assisted living for people who
may need extra support such as health
monitoring and personal care, along
with meals, bathing and laundry.

Therapy Services
Activities can be organized on a
regular basis to enhance well‐being
and respond to physical, emotional,
intellectual, spiritual, cultural and
sensory needs.
Supportive Living
Supportive Living offers extra support to residents such as health
monitoring and personal care, along
with help with meals, bathing and
laundry. There is also 24-hour access
to an on-call Registered Nurse.
Meal Services
Carewest Food Services strives to
create and serve healthy, nutritious
meals with friendly service in a relaxed environment. Most special dietary requirements can be met and
we welcome feedback from clients
and families.
Rooms
All our private suites come equipped
with a three‐piece ensuite. Each suite
is tastefully decorated and furnished
with a bed, small nightstand and a
wardrobe/closet. Nickle House is a
completely smoke‐free environment.

To learn if Nickle House is right for
you, you must be assessed by a Home
Care Coordinator. If you are a Home
Care client, call your Home Care Coordinator at 943-1600. If you aren’t a
