Spring 2015 Programs
Support Groups
Peer Support Group

Saturdays; 1:00pm-2:30pm; May 9 – June 27th
Ages 17+
This group is an informal network of individuals who
share common struggles with food, weight and body
image. The group helps to break the isolation that is so
common to those who struggle with eating disorders as
well as provide participants with an opportunity to
share their feelings, thoughts, and emotions in a nonjudgemental environment.
Facilitated by Hopewell volunteers.
Fee: $30
Over-30 Support Group
Next group to be held Fall 2015
Ages 30 and up
The Over-30 Support Group will allow
individuals 30 years of age and older to come together
and help each other make lifestyle changes that lead to
recovery. This Support Group will provide participants
with an opportunity to share their experiences, acquire
positive coping skills, and gain supportive advice.

Fee: $125
Family & Friends Support Group
Tuesdays; 7:00pm-8:30pm; May 5th- June 16th
(May 12th will be a 3 hour Mindfulness session, co-facilitated by
Dr. Kimberly Sogge)
Ages 17 and up.
The Family & Friends Support Group is for parents, partners and
siblings who are caring for an individual struggling with an eating
disorder. The group's objective is to provide an opportunity for
families to feel less isolated, to have a better understanding of
what it's like to live with an eating disorder, to improve their
coping strategies, and to feel supported by sharing their feelings
and experiences in a non-judgemental environment.
Facilitated by Kathryn Palmer MEd
Fee: $100 per individual, $150 per couple, and $50 for each
additional
family member

Summer Support Program

Eating, etc. to be offered through July and
August.
Beyond Recovery Support Group
*Fall 2015
A group for individuals age 17+ who have been
fully recovered for 3 or more years, but who
would still find it helpful to connect with their
peers.
Groups may be held at various locations, please contact us about the location of a specific group.
Must register in advance through self-referral, please contact Hopewell by email or phone.
We ask that you consider making a donation for tax receipt on top of payment of the fee, to enable us to support those individuals who are not able to
afford these services. Thank you.
Mentoring
Information & Support
Bridging the Gap Mentoring Program
The purpose of this mentoring program is to help support individuals who
are transitioning from eating disorder therapy/treatment back into their
daily lives. The program involves matching people one-on-one with a
mentor who has been recovered for 3 or more years; the mentor and
mentee getting together every second week, over a six-month period.

*Hope Talk Mentoring Program
We are currently in the process of expanding our mentoring programs to
include such things as mentoring opportunities via phone and email, as
well as providing mentors to family and friends. Please stay tuned to this
