WFDF 2015 World Under-23 Ultimate Championships Participant Registration Help Participant Registration needs to be completed by each member of the team (Players, Coaches, Guests, etc). All team guests and support staff should be given the staff role by the Team Manager, we will then amend the fees they owe. Any non-attending persons do not need to complete this registration. The information provided during this process will be used: to check eligibility, food & accommodation bookings, as well as by the media team. Please read this document carefully to understand what information we need to collect, when we need to collect it by and how you need to submit it. Some people will have already started the registration process, but they will need to go through and check all the information provided as we have recently made some changes. 1. You can access “Participant Registration” from the Home Page, click on the icon top right or you can access it from the “Registration” Menu top left. 2. Scroll down and click “Register Now” then select to “Register Yourself” (Join an existing team, cost £170. All participants should select this option and then the team manager will assign you the correct role, and we will amend the cost to reflect your role.) 3. At this stage you will be asked to: a. Create an account. i. You will be asked for your First Name, Last Name, Gender, Email Address, Password and Mail preferences. ii. All information is required and you will receive an email asking you to confirm your email address. Please do so ASAP. b. Sign in to an existing account or you may already be signed in. i. If your team manager has already added you to the roster, or you have already joined a team, then you will have an existing player registration marked as incomplete. Please click the resume button and check all the information as outlined in the document below and skip to step 5. 4. Select a team to join. Please make sure you select the correct division! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------NB: We will be using the Ultimate Central mailing list system as the primary form of communication with team managers, captains & players before, during and after the event, so it is vital that you use an email address that you check regularly and will have access to before, during and after the tournament. Please complete the Event Info Section. a. Basic Info i. Date of Birth – is required to check eligibility ii. Photo – is not required, but will help the media team, commentators and all your fans get to know you! b. Contact Info i. Phone number – is required in case we need to get hold of you urgently, especially if you are the Captain or SOTG Captain c. Emergency Contact – is not required but would help in case of an emergency where you are not with your team. Your team manager should have this info as well! d. Team – Check you are rostered with the correct team and have the right uniform number. If you don’t yet know your uniform number please make sure you return to complete it before Player Registration closes on Friday 29th May. e. Player Survey i. SOTG Captain – Please identify yourself in case we need to contact you directly ii. Height, Playing Since, Home Club, Career Highlights - are all optional and mainly for the media team and fans iii. WFDF User ID* – this is not required during initial registration, so as not to delay the collection of other data, but will be required to complete the registration process. Your User ID can be found by logging onto the WFDF Rules website: rules.wfdf.org and checking your profile. If you do not yet have an account please go to the site and register one for free. All players are required to have completed the WFDF Standard Rules Accreditation before Friday 29th May to be eligible to compete. In addition to this 3 players, including the captain are required to have completed the WFDF Advanced Rules Accreditation before Friday 29th May to be eligible to compete. If you have any questions about Rules Accreditation requirements, please check information on the website: wu23uc2015.com/rules-eligiblilty and direct your enquiries first to your Team Manager. Your User ID will be matched against the WFDF database and checked during registration at the start of the tournament. Real Winner Anti-Doping Certificate Number* – this is not required during initial registration, so as not to delay the collection of other data, but will be required to complete the registration process. All players are required to have completed the Real Winner Anti-Doping Course before Friday 29th May to be eligible to compete. The course can be accessed for free here: sportaccord.realwinner.org. The certificate number can be found in the bottom right corner of the certificate obtained on completion of the course. It will be checked during registration at the start of the tournament. Please hold your questions on accessing this until such time as this information is released. We currently know as much as you do about this process! v. Dietary Requirements – this is required if only so that we can make sure we are offering you things you will eat! If not applicable or none please enter "N/A". This information will be double checked with your Team Manager so please make sure they also know! 6. Click “Waivers >>” at the bottom of the page to proceed. 7. The Waiver*, otherwise known as the WFDF Event Participant Agreement 2015, must be downloaded, printed and the signed original submitted along with a copy of your passport or signed ID cards and your other documents during Registration at the tournament. 8.
