Dear Readers
Greetings to you in the sweet name of Jesus!
Jesus said: “You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you
that you would go and bear fruit” - John 15:16a.
In this passage it is very clearly mentioned that men do not first
choose to follow Jesus. Rather, Jesus chooses men to follow Him; men
loved Jesus because Jesus first loved men. This can only be understood
when we learn more about Jesus from the living book - the Holy Bible.
I would like to begin with my testimony. I am the fifth among seven siblings in my
family. My mother narrated that when I was in my mother's womb unlike the others in
times of pregnancy, she had difficulty during my time also. So, she started praying to God
telling Jesus that if the baby is born alive she would give to God for His service and
pronounced even my name THENSEM which means “God formed” not knowing that I
would be a baby boy or girl. Actually the name given to me is a baby boy's name in our
dialect. I am born and brought up in a Christian family and I have accepted my Lord Jesus
in my early age. When I was in sixth standard my teacher asked me about my aim in life
and I responded that my aim is to be a PASTOR, everybody laughed at me and my face
turned red, because many of my classmate told that they wanted to be doctors, IAS
officers, army officers, pilots etc. I remembered this incident when Reverend laid his
hands upon me and declared that I am given the name Pastor on 24th May, 2015. I praise
God for choosing me and appointing me to be His servant. Life may seem so hard and
difficult but it is always a joy for me to be in the service of the Lord.
The Lord taught me that I am very special in His sight for now I know the purpose of
my existence. Despite my short comings and weaknesses the Lord has chosen me for His
service. I wanted to change my name by having some English name or Bible names but
then my mother told me that I should not for I am a promised child. To God be the Glory.
Amen
In His service
Pastor Thensem Singson,
Chaplain.

The story of a blind girl
The SWIFT wishes all the FATHERS a Very Happy Father's Day
21st June, 2015.
There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving
boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her
boyfriend asked her, “now that you can see the world, will you marry me?”
The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend
walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying: “Just take care of my eyes dear.”
This is how human brain changes when the status changed. Only few remember what life was before, and who's
always been there even in the most painful situations.
Life Is A Gift

Today before you think of saying an unkind word think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife think of someone who is crying out to God for a companion.

Today before you complain about life think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before you complain about your children think of someone who desires children but they're barren.

Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn't clean or sweep think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before droning about the distance you drive think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job.

But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another remember that not one of us are without sin and we all answer to one maker.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down put a smile on your face and thank God you're alive and still around.
Mr. Thensem Singson,Chaplain has been

Some of us possess the ability to realize our dreams more than the rest. The most important and influential factor in this
process is how much we believe in our dream and believe that it will be realized. Some of the factors that hamper this
