The Dr. Herbert W. Wey Scholarship is for members of Phi Theta Kappa to transfer to Appalachian for the fall
semester beginning their junior year. The selection committee considers leadership, curriculum, and grades
when reviewing applications. This scholarship is non-renewable with preference for the scholarship to
students from North Carolina and South Carolina.
