Graduation Day Reminders
VHS Class of 2015
Class of 2015,
We want your graduation to be the best possible experience for you, your family, and friends. Please review these
reminders so you are informed and ready for your big day.














Be on time – arrive at VHS on Thursday, 6/4/15 by 5:45am. Have someone drop you off.
Report to the assigned classroom –(see below)
Bring your cap and gown – do not wear your cap & gown until told to put it on.
Wear appropriate clothes
 Boys – collared dress shirt, tie, and slacks
 All – dress shoes – absolutely NO athletic shoes, flip flops, sandals, jeans, and facial piercing.
Do not bring car keys, cell phones, cameras, electronics, sunglasses, purses. If these items are brought, they will
be collected and returned to you after the graduation ceremony.
Do not bring any inappropriate items
Do not write, decorate, or place anything on top of your cap.
Remind your parents you will meet them on the EAST side of the Cedar Park Center after graduation.
Remind friends and family that foghorns, bells and other noisemakers will be confiscated at the Cedar Park
Center.
There will be no transportation from CPC back to VHS. You will need to make sure you have a ride home after
the ceremony.
Do not bring or chew gum.
Photo Texas will be taking pictures of you receiving your diploma as well as a staged photo at the end of the
runway. You will receive a proof of the photos in the mail from which you may order. A videographer will be
recording the ceremony. Order forms will be available on the campus website following graduation or you can

If you are unable to attend one of the LISD high school graduations, you can view them via live video stream.
Please share this information with your out of town family members and friends.
Tickets for guests are NOT required for the VHS graduation. All are welcome.
Upon arrival at VHS no later than 5:45AM: ENTER IN THE SOUTH ENTRANCE TO THE NEW CLASSOOM
WING.

Go immediately to the assigned room. Your room/row assignment will be given to you at the graduation
rehearsal and will be posted in the hallways when you arrive.

Please remain in the assigned room. Teachers will be taking attendance so buses can be loaded as quickly as possible.
