League space is limited, so register early. Registration is open to anyone high school age or older. There is a $10 participation fee per league. Both sides must bring a new can of tennis balls for each match. For more information, call Parks & Recreation at 754-3090. 1. Schedules will be established and distributed after the organizational meeting on June 4th. Leagues start June 8th. Singles will be played on Monday evenings and Doubles will be played on Wednesday evenings. 2. The following simple rules will apply. Others may be verbally created to cover situations that may arise. match, inform one member of the opposing team prior to the match. Scores must be reported to Terry Miller 878-2107 or 409-1162 (cell) within 48 hours. For each match, both sides must bring a new can of balls. Players shall flip a coin at the beginning of each match to determine whose can of balls will be utilized. Each match will consist of two sets (regular scoring) and a 12-point tie breaker. The winner of each set receives one point. You are expected to play on the days and times shown on the schedule. There will be a 15-minute default time. If you cannot make it or if you are rained out, call your opponent and reschedule a make-up match. A player’s telephone list will be provided. Make-up matches may be played at any Fairborn court. If a player fails to show up for a scheduled match and does not notify his opponent, it will be an automatic default. All matches must be completed before August 10th and recorded with Terry Miller.
