Target Audience: Anesthesiologists, Critical Care Specialists, CRNA’s, Nurse Practitioners, PA’s and College of Medicine Students.
Course Goal: The purpose of this educational activity is to improve the perioperative care of surgical and critically ill patients by closing
common clinical practice gaps that have been identified across the country.
Overall Course Objectives: Upon completion of this symposium, participants will improve their competence and performance by being
able to:
✔ D escribe research-based evidence and rationale of current perioperative modalities
✔ E valuate diagnostic techniques, monitoring methods, and therapeutic strategies for age appropriate perioperative care in the US and
third world countries
✔ D efend patient specific treatment plans for high risk populations
✔ A pply data for practice improvement and optimal patient outcomes in anesthesiology and critical care
All presentations and other materials will be provided on USB drives issued at the registration table. Free Wi-Fi will be available in the conference and lobby area.
Laptops will not be provided. Conference presentations will not be available in print. Printing will not be available at the conference.
