At the conclusion of this conference, participants
should be able to:
1. Describe the utility of different diagnostic
imaging techniques in the management of
ophthalmologic diseases such as diabetic
macular edema (DME), age-related macular
degeneration (AMD), and vein occlusion.
2. Review the results of Protocol T and other
comparative clinical trials of anti-vascular
endothelial growth factor (VEGF) agents for DME.
3. Describe the efficacy, dosing, and safety profiles
of current and emerging treatment options for
ophthalmologic diseases, especially DME, AMD,
and uveitis.
