None of the Alborak Stable Inc., Mary Donnelly, John Donnelly or Sandra Donnelly or any
officers, directors, members, staff, volunteers, representatives, visiting trainers/clinicians or agents
of the above named parties (the “Released Parties”) shall in any way be liable for any accident,
injury, damage, loss, expenses, or for any matter that may happen or be suffered by participants,
competitors, spectators, owners, agents or to anyone on the grounds, or to any animal, including
horses, or to any article brought on to the facility or grounds.
Format:
Dressage tests on Saturday with a derby jumping test on Sunday (includes both cross country like
elements and show jumps). Alternately participants could do either dressage or jumping only.
Combined test classes for those that enter both dressage and jumping will be scored over the 2 days
and prizes awarded. Multiple rounds and cross entry permitted but see prize qualification below.
Limited stabling available for $60/night. Stabling form can be found on the Alborak website under
Clinics or call directly to arrange (403-932-4819).
Entries:
Closing date is May 1, 2015.
Entry Fee: $35 per dressage test with a maximum of 2 rounds per class.
$25 per jumping round
School horse fees extra. No charge for entering the combined test, we will automatically enter you
in the combined test according to your entries.
Late entry fee: $75
Prizes:
Ribbons to 3rd for each class.
Prize money for each combined test results – $30 for first place, $20 for second place and $10 for
third place.
For multiple rounds best results will be counted for ribbons and prizes. Entry at multiple levels
allowed.

*Class #7 - For entry to Schooling Test of Choice – Entry form must include a copy of the test for
review by the judge in advance.
Scoring:
Judge will score dressage tests using standard dressage marking criteria including half marks if
appropriate.
Show jumping will be scored as 4 faults for each knock down or disobedience (refusal) and one
fault for every commenced second over the time allowed. Elimination after 2nd disobedience
(refusal).
Medic:
On Site for May 10.
Entries:
Entries are not confirmed until paid for in full.
Organizer will assign dressage ride times by coach to minimize time required and warm up
groups for jumping by level will be by coach as well.

• Late entries will be charged a late entry fee of $75
Refunds:
Entrants canceling their entries before the closing date will be issued a refund in full. Those
received after the closing dates but prior to the start of the competition, upon presentation of a
valid veterinarian certificate will incur a $25 cancellation fee and all other fees will be refunded.
Non veterinarian scratches will not be refunded after closing date.

Bridles and Saddles:
As per EC eventing rules. Will be checked at the discretion of the judge or show manager.
Attire:
Tall boots or paddock boots and half chaps along with clean and neat schooling clothing. ASTM/
SEI or BSI/BS EN approved headgear must be worn at all times while mounted.
