HOSSMOOR EVENTS DRESSAGE SHOWS Sat, May 2- *** Show Sun, May 3 - Schooling Show TRAIL WORK PARTY Sat, May 16 nine am- one pm The *** show is approved by USEF, USDF, and CDS. It’s a big deal for us to host it. The Schooling Show is much more relaxed. Not only is there no required dress, but we offer Eventing Dressage and Western Dressage tests, too! We hope you’ll ride in one or the other show, or both, but if not, please consider volunteering! It’s a fun way to enjoy the show AND help out at the same time. Work a morning or afternoon shift, either day, and get free food, and a small gift, as a token of our appreciation. Email Hetty to volunteer! Keeping our trails open is a priority, but we need your help to do that. Meet promptly at nine am at the house. Bring weed-whackers, or other trail tools, if you have them. We are transported to the ridge. Working our way down the trail is pretty easy, and a lot of fun, too! We are back down by noon. If working isn’t a possibility, consider making sandwiches, or providing drinks, a salad, or cookies for the crew. Join us for lunch in Hetty’s front yard. There’s a sign up sheet in the covered arena, for working, and for providing lunch! Please say farewell to: LISA CORTEZ-HOLMES’ rescued horse, DIEGO. She has decided to put him in training. SOFIA and ZEUS remain here, and we hope DIEGO will be back soon. WE STORE MEDICAL SUPPLIES for emergencies in the Exam Room. Some items and medications are missing. Please replace the missing items, that you borrowed, and either replace or reimburse us for the medications. Boarders use the horse vacuum, and equine professionals use the exam room, too. We don’t want to have to lock the Exam Room, so ask staff before taking supplies! Congratulations: UTE FREY & JON PAUL! Our Sympathy goes out to TAUNI & PARIS SAUVAGE on the loss of their wonderful mare INGLENOOK May She Rest in Peace May your marriage be blessed with peace & joy!
