Baby Miss Division will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Miss Interviews will be conducted beginning at 5:00 p.m. (Interview attire required)
followed by the on-stage competition at 6:00 p.m.
Ages 0-15 years will ONLY wear formal/ glitz evening gown.
The Miss (16-22 years) is the ONLY category that will wear/model both outfit of choice and evening gown
as this is a preliminary pageant for the Miss Virginia Association of Fairs.

The deadline to register for the pageant is Friday, June 26, 2015. Late registration will be accepted only until
Friday, July 3rd, 2015, however there will be a $20 late fee applied.

Each Miss Scott County Fair Queen will receive a trophy, banner, and a beautiful crown.
1st and 2nd Runners-up in each division will be awarded with a nice trophy.
Participation gifts will be given to those contestants who do not place.
Side categories for each division of:
Overall Appearance - Most Photogenic – Prettiest Eyes – Prettiest Smile
To participate in the Most Photogenic category, contestants must submit a 5x7 or larger photo with their application.
Entry Fee: $35 Side Categories: $10 each Entire Competition: $65.00

There will be awards for the contestant who collects the most sponsorship money. All sponsorship money will be
counted after the original entry fee(s) are paid (pageant entry fees do not count toward sponsorship awards).
Sponsorship monies must be turned in by 5:00 p.m. on pageant night. The contestant with the most sponsorship will
be named Miss Scott County Fair Princess and will receive a 30+ inch trophy and bouquet.
All participants must mail in a registration form along with payment by the deadline in order to compete.
Rules and Regulations
1. All (MISS) contestants must be a resident of Virginia and/or enrolled in a school/college
in Virginia. Contestants must be single, never married, without children.
2. Contestants will model a standard T-Formation.
3. Contestants from 0-15 years will model/wear a formal/glitz evening gown.
4. The Miss Division (16-22) will be the only division to model both outfit of choice and
evening gown. Each contestant in the Miss Division will also have a private interview
prior to on stage competition. This interview will count for 40% of the overall score.
Rehearsal for the Miss Division will be July 16-17, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. both nights. We
will be going over the opening number and the girls will also have the chance to get a
‘feel’ of the stage in their pageant shoes.
5. All fees, applications, and headshots (if you wish to participate in the Most Photogenic
category) must be received by Friday, June 26, 2015. Late entries will be accepted only
until Friday, July 3, 2015, however there will be a $20 late fee applied.

6. Miss Scott County Fair Queen will represent the Fair Association at various community
functions upon request of the association.
7. Contestants competing in the Miss Scott County Fair age division 16-22 years must not
have their 23rd birthday on or before January 2016.
8. Contestants must possess good moral character having never, at any time, been convicted
of any crime nor have any criminal charges against her, and must never have committed
an act or engaged in any activity which is or could be characterized as dishonest,
immoral, indecent, or in bad taste.
9. The reigning Miss Scott County Fair must agree to represent Scott County at the Virginia
Association of Fairs Pageant in Hot Springs, VA in January 2016. If she is unable to
fulfill her responsibilities, the First Runner-Up will assume her duties.
10. Contestants and all accompanying members or guest will conduct themselves in a proper
manner at ALL times. Any display of uncooperative or unsportsmanlike conduct will
result in disqualification of the contestant.
11. The will be absolutely NO MEN allowed in or around the dressing rooms at any time
during the pageant.
12. The Virginia Association of Fairs reserves the right to conduct drug testing at their
discretion.

breaching of this contract will forfeit all awards, and I will return all awards presented as

liability, injury or loss of personal property before, during or after the competition.
