Madewell to Join Country Club Plaza
International women’s apparel and accessories retailer to open on the Country Club Plaza
in August

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 26, 2015) – Popular women’s apparel, shoes and accessories
store Madewell is coming to the Country Club Plaza. Madewell will open in August at 309
Nichols Road, occupying 3,313 square feet.
Madewell’s move to the Country Club Plaza comes on the heels of Highwoods Properties
announcing four new openings – Barton Perreira, Coveted Home, Zoës Kitchen and vineyard vines.
“We work hard to ensure the Plaza remains a favorite shopping, dining and entertainment
destination, which is why it is a priority for us to have a strong mix of exclusive, local and worldclass stores,” said Glenn Stephenson, Highwoods Properties vice president and division
manager. “Madewell is an exceptional brand, and we are confident Kansas Citians will share in
our excitement as this retailer joins the Plaza.
