KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 16, 2015) – Kansas City’s popular all-natural health café, t.Loft, will
open a new 3,152-square-foot location in July 2015 on the Country Club Plaza at 200 W. 47th
Street.
The locally owned café, which caters to the health-conscious customer, promotes good health
through natural food choices. Known for its fresh-pressed juices, protein shakes, smoothies and
fresh snacks, t.Loft offers a complete menu of convenient and healthy food and juice options for
breakfast, lunch and dinner.
“The addition of the hometown brand of t.Loft to the Country Club Plaza continues to expand the
great variety of food and beverage choices for Plaza-goers,” said Glenn Stephenson,
Highwoods Properties vice president and division manager. “t.Loft is a healthy brand that we
know our shoppers will enjoy. We are dedicated to providing food and shopping experiences
that are one of a kind and add to the energy that makes the Country Club Plaza such a special
place.”
Launched in 2013 by Jill and Brandon Minton, t.Loft emphasizes the Minton’s long-held belief
that “you are what you eat.” Everything in the café is made without artificial colors, flavors or
preservatives, and everything is gluten-free. t.Loft has gained a loyal following since its
founding. The County Club Plaza café will be t.Loft’s signature location, with a bold, fresh new
look.
“The Plaza is such an iconic piece of Kansas City,” t. Loft owner Jill Minton said. “For us,
opening on the Plaza is an opportunity to continue sharing how fresh nutritious food can
transform the way you look, feel and experience life.”
