ver 300 attendees and guests were on
hand at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut for the 2014 New
England Regional Conference. Highlights of the conference included a rousing speech
given by LIUNA General President Terry O’Sullivan, as well as inspiring words from LIUNA General Secretary-Treasurer and New England Regional Manager Armand E. Sabitoni.
Another significant highlight included the
signing of a Memorandum of Agreement with
Kinder Morgan regarding upcoming pipeline work

in Massachusetts and northern New England. The
signing of the agreement is captured on the cover
of this magazine and features LIUNA General Secretary-Treasurer and New England Regional Manager Armand E. Sabitoni and Allen Fore, Director
of Public Affairs for Kinder Morgan.
This Memorandum of Agreement, in part,
guarantees that the pipeline jobs carried out by
Construction Craft Laborers will have union wages and benefits attached, and means hundreds of
quality jobs for Laborers who perform pipeline
work throughout the New England Region.
