Here’s 5 eye-opening new tips for Spring.

Create a face in 5 steps.

Apply an eye creme like Advanced
Night Repair Eye with Double Wear
Concealer for the Fatigue Fighter
Technique. on back of hand, mix a
little ANR Eye with a little Concealer.
Pat under eyes, from the inner to the
outer corners, and blend. Add more
Concealer alone, if needed.
Finish with pressed or loose powder
and our Powder Roll-on Technique.
Dip one side of a powder brush into
powder. Tap off excess. Roll powdered
half of brush over skin in a 180˚ motion,
section by section, instead of sweeping
across face. Turn brush over to clean
side and sweep off any excess. Finish
by dusting eyelids.
Define features with neutral
makeup shades:
Cheeks: Apply blush with the
natural Blush Technique.
lashes: Apply one coat each
of Lash Primer Plus and
Sumptuous Mascara
Brows: Brush up with a clean
mascara wand.
lips: Apply a soft, natural shade

2. Try a brighter eyeliner along the inner eyelid to
make eyes pop! Plum looks great on everyone,
according to Tom.
3. Create a “cat eye” look. Draw black liner along
the root of lashes on the upper lid. line to the
outer edge of eye, then tilt the line up slightly.
For a more dramatic effect, use brown to start
your line, then switch to black to finish the line.
4. Bring out deep-set eyes with light eyeshadow
shades. Avoid deeper shades.
5. lift droopy lids by using light eyeshadow on
the lid up to brow bone, then define crease
with a darker one.

Use eyeshadows, artfully placed, to
accent any eye shape and flatter brows,
high and low. To start, measure one eye
horizontally, corner to corner, with a
cotton swab. Bend swab to this width.

A hard, perfect line looks dated. Instead, try the Simple Smudge Technique. Start at outer
corner of eye. Apply eyeliner along base of lashes, with short, feathery strokes—it’s ok if it’s
uneven. Smudge a deep Pure Color EyeShadow over the line with a sponge tip or brush.

Try our Curvy lashes Technique. Prep with Lash Primer Plus. Apply Sumptuous or
Double Wear Zero Smudge Mascara. Wiggle brush at base of lashes, then comb through.
Hold wand at tips to “lock” curl and hold for five seconds.
MY MASCARA AlWAYS SMUDGES
Take a tip from our experts and apply mascara first, before you apply other eye makeup.
Place your finger gently on closed eyelid and apply mascara with upward strokes.
By keeping a finger on your lid, any mascara smudges off on your finger, not your lids.
After you’ve applied eye makeup, add one last coat of mascara.

Mixing mascara shades is the
latest trend. Try black on top
lashes and brown, blue, green,
or even turquoise on the lower
ones to avoid a heavy,
“spider” eyes look.
After you’ve applied eyeshadow, to prevent
mascara smudging, tilt head back, looking
down into mirror. Then, brush mascara
onto tips of lashes in short, upward strokes.
This prevents smudges on your upper lids
as well as below your eyes.

“It has to do with character. Are you someone who is shy and wants to be subtle? or someone who wants

Before it sets,
brush Pure Color
EyeShadow
(medium, deep
or shimmery
shade) over lids.

Smudge the
mixture over
lids up to
crease. Blend.
Tom Pecheux’s Technique:
Smoky eyes for day—apply one sheer layer of
shadow over upper lids only.
Smoky eyes for evening—apply several layers
of shadow over top lid for more intense color.
Smudge shadow underneath the lower shades,
too. line on the rim of lower lashes.
