Dear Parents/Guardians,
Your child has been selected to represent Seabrook Primary School at the Laverton Primary School
Sports Association Cross Country Sports.
The Cross Country Sports will be held at Queen of Peace P.S. It will start at the school, out the back
gate and head out past the BMX track and Basketball Stadium and out towards the 100 Steps, then
return and finish back at the school. It will be on Friday May 1st, 2015 between 9.30a.m and
11.15a.m. There may be some parking available in the school car park (but if there is a church service
on it will be very full), otherwise you can go in the car park via the Basketball Stadium entrance then
head across towards the BMX track/skate park at the back of school entrance. The 9/10yr (2km) races
will be on first, then 11yrs (3km) followed by 12+yrs (3km).
The cost will be of $8.00 per child for the bus. We will leave school at 9.00 am and return about
11.30am.
Children need to bring a drink and snacks with them but lunch will be back at school. There will be NO
canteen service available. Please feel free to come along and cheer on the team. Our District is
smaller this year and we therefore need a couple of volunteers from each school to assist with
marshaling out on the course (which is a good place to watch the races from). If you can assist on

I give permission for my child to attend the Inter School Cross Friday May 1st, 2015 at Queen of
Peace Primary School. I authorise the teacher in charge of the excursion to consent, where it is
impracticable to communicate with me, to my child receiving medical or surgical treatment as may
be deemed necessary by a qualified medical practitioner.
I enclose $8.00 to cover the cost of the bus. 
