Leader: We sing in our world a sure song of hope:
People: We know Christ to be our only hope.

One Great Hour of Sharing Offering Today
One Great Hour of Sharing is a special offering
of the Presbyterian Church (USA) that enables
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, Self
Development of Peoples, and the Presbyterian
Hunger Program to witness to the healing love
of Christ locally and globally.
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance enables those affected by natural or
human-caused disasters to be part of the rebuilding and recovery efforts in
their communities. Self Development of People provides grants to agencies
within our own presbytery that are working to build up their
community. Presbyterian Hunger Program provides support to those in
need of food security. When you give to One Great Hour of Sharing, you
are assisting in the empowerment of others as they move past emotional,
physical, and spiritual misfortune. Your help gives hope in the name of
Jesus Christ.
Youth Group
Prayer Labyrinth Today
The youth group will meet today at the church at 5 p.m., eat, and then walk
together to St. John's Lutheran Church to walk their prayer labyrinth. Youth
experience the ancient spiritual practice of walking the labyrinth, which is
modeled on the one found in the Chartres Cathedral in France. We will
return to SIPC in time for pick up at 7:00 p.m. Contact Pastor Jack if you
have any questions.
New Prayer Chapel
Looking for a quiet, intimate place to pray during the day? Please visit the
new, two-person prayer chapel located off the East Room. You'll find two
chairs, a cross, a Bible, candles, and a CD player with contemplative
music. Come by any time the church is open and use the chapel to spend a
few moments in quiet meditation with the Lord.
HELP Sunday is the first Sunday of each month
We join together with other area congregations supporting the Food Pantry
for HELP of Beaufort, an ecumenical ministry that assists people of special
need and care. SIPC has been asked to bring offerings of rice and grits.
Please place items in the basket located in the narthex. Thank you!

Salkehatchie Mission Trip
June 20-27
SIPC Youth will be participating in the Salkehatchie Summer Service
Project in Wateree (Camden), SC, working on multiple houses and staying
at a local church. Cost is $230 and includes lodging and meals. Financial
assistance is available. This trip is open to all youth age 14 and older. A
non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to register.
