IMPORTANT NOTICE / INSTRUCTIONS TO TENDERERS
1. The contractors who are already having three contracts on hand from
State Bank of Travancore (ie; 3 nos. work for which work orders have
already been issued by the concerned department / controller) are not
eligible to bid for this work.
2. The contractors who are bidding for this work should furnish the details of
work on hand from State Bank of Travancore in a separate envelope
suitably super scribed “Details of works on hand with SBT” in the from of
a declaration as per the format enclosed (Page no.3)
3. The tender of the Contractor/s who do not furnish the details of work in
hand or furnishing false details will be summarily rejected.
4. The Contractor / s who are awarded work on the basis of false details are
liable to be removed from Bank’s Panel and their security deposit will be
forfeited.
5. The cover containing the declaration and details of work in hand from
State Bank of Travancore (item no.2 above) will be opened before
opening tenders.
6. The tenders of contractors who satisfy the above stipulation (item no.1
above) only will be opened and others will be rejected.
7. Contractors not having any work should furnish a NIL statement.
All contractors are herby instructed to read the above instructions carefully
and submit the tenders (all pages excluding page no.3 of this tender
document) and the duly filled Declaration as per format enclosed (Page
no.3 of this tender document) in separate sealed covers, suitably super
scribed as the case may be and to be enclosed in a third cover marked

Note: Failure to respond to the test calls made by us on the above contact
number and submission of false information or wrong address will lead to
disqualification of the bidder and their offer will be summarily rejected.
The offer from those bidders who have no service facility in kollam /
trivandrum district will be summarily rejected.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The quoted rate should include all taxes, levies, octroi, cost of
transportation & loading and unloading at site.
2. The quoted rate should also include the cost of drain piping (full length),
copper piping up to 5m and wiring between indoor and outdoor unit for
single phase split air conditioners.
3. Time period for completion is 15 days from the date of Work order.
4. Delay beyond 15 days will attract compensation towards liquidated
damages @ Rs.1000/- per day.
5. No advance payment.
6. 95% of the bill amount will be released on satisfactory
commissioning of the airconditioners and balance 5% on
satisfactory completion of defect liability period of one year.
7. All Civil works under suppliers scope and wall openings made if any
should be sealed using cement mortar only and should be finished to the
plastering level.
8. The single phase air conditioners should have a comprehensive warranty
of 1 year + additional warranty of 5 years for the compressor.
