Contemplative Inquiry in the Classroom: Strengthening
our Common Ground
On June 12-13, 2015, Selkirk College Contemplative Practices Group and the Teaching and
Learning Institute will host a two-day retreat for educators of all disciplines interested in
learning more about the contemplative pedagogical approach. We hope to inspire a sense
of community amongst educators and strengthen practices intended to foster resilience,
curiosity, and thoughtfulness in our students.
These two days have been designed to offer the time and space for communal sharing and
personal reflection.
