How to Add SNMP Add-on The System Upgrade tab is used for SNMP add-on for the VidyoPortal/VidyoOne software. The SNMP add-on filename has a .vidyo extension. SNMP add-on is available through your reseller or Vidyo Customer Support. To apply the SNMP add-on to VidyoPortal/VidyoOne: 1. Click the Upload and Update button. The Uploading new server software file dialog box opens. 2. Click the Select File button. Your OS’s standard File Upload dialog box opens 3. Locate the SNMP add-on file on your computer. 4. Click the Open button in the File Upload dialog box. 5. Click the Upload button in the Uploading new server software file dialog box. Select File button The file uploads. Reboot the server. Wait at least five minutes for the system to reboot. Warning: The upgrade process terminates all calls in progress. You might want to email users ahead of time and perform the upgrade when system usage is lowest. How to Restart The System The System Restart tab is used to restart or shutdown the portal server. 1. To reboot the VidyoPortal, click the Restart button 2. Confirm the action in the dialog box that opens. This will power cycle the server. 3. To shut down the VidyoPortal, click the Shutdown button. 4. Confirm the action in the dialog box that opens. This will power down the server. Warning: Once the server shuts down you can power it back up only by physically pressing the power button on the front of the unit. Warning: When the system is restarted or shut down all calls in progress are ended. You might want to email users ahead of time and perform the upgrade when system usage is lowest. Standalone VidyoRouter Upload Tab 1. Click the Upload and button 2. Select Upload 3. Locate the SNMP add-on file on your computer. 4. Click the Open button in the File Upload dialog box. 5. Upload SNMP add-on file 6. Restart Router NOTE: 32 or 64 Bit SNMP add-on is determined by the VidyoRouter you have. This can be determined on the upgrade page of the Router GUI. How to apply SNMP add-on to Gateway When you receive a software update from Vidyo, you install it in the Upgrade Gateway page. 1. Click on Update Gateway on the menu. 2. Click the Browse button 3. Select the upgrade file from your computer or other computer on your network. 4. Upload the file. 5. Click the Upload & Install button. 6. Restart the VidyoGateway in the Restart tab for the upgrade to take effect. Warning: When the gateways is restarted or shut down all calls in progress that are using the gateway are ended.
