OPSM AFL TWITTER COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Instructions on how to enter form part of the conditions of entry. By participating entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. The name of the competition is “OPSM AFL Twitter Competition” (the competition). 2. The promoter is Luxottica Retail Australia Pty Limited (ACN 000 025 758), trading as OPSM (“OPSM”) of 75 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113 (Promoter). Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its associated agencies are not eligible to enter. 3. Entry is open to Australian residents who have a Twitter account (www.twitter.com). Entrants under 18 years old must have parental or guardian approval to enter. 4. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who the Promoter believes either has tampered with the entry process or has not participated in the competition in accordance with these conditions of entry. 5. The competition commences at 10am AEST 23 September 2013 and ends at 10am AEST on 27 September 2013 (Competition Period). 6. Entrants must, during the Competition Period, correctly answer the question tweeted by either Jude Bolton, Matthew Pavlich or OPSM in a tweet using the hashtag #OPSMGiantMark. The question will relate to how many cables hold the balls which create the OPSM Giant Mark. 7. The first 20 entrants to tweet the correct answer during the Competition Period, will be the winners. If there are less than 20 correct answers, the entrants whose answers are numerically closest to the answer will be the winners. The Promoter’s decision is final, no correspondence will be entered into. 8. One entry per Twitter account. 9. The winners will win the first 20 prizes won by participants at the OPSM Giant Mark Competition held at Federation Square, Melbourne, Victoria on 27 September 2013 (except if 2013 AFL Grand Final ticket prizes are won, in such an event the winner will win tickets to the 2014 AFL Grand Final instead of the 2013 AFL Grand Final). The time order in which an entrant tweets the correct answer will be the order in which the entrant obtains their prize. For example, the first winner of this competition will obtain the same prize as the first participant in the OPSM Giant Mark Competition. 10. Winners will be announced on the OPSM Twitter account by 5pm (AEST) on 28 September 2013. By entering the competition, each entrant requests that his or her full address not be published. 11. The potential prizes that the winners may receive are set out below. The maximum prize value is $20,935. a. Behind the scenes tours of Etihad Stadium in 2014 at an AFL match (6 to be given away in OPSM Giant Mark competition) The prize consists of one (1) double pass to a behind the scenes tour prematch and tickets to watch the game. The winner will be sent a list of AFL 1 matches that they can choose from in the AFL Toyota Premiership Season 2014 that is played at Etihad Stadium. This prize cannot be used for finals or grand final matches and the choice of match and tour of Etihad Stadium is subject to AFL approval and terms and conditions. Individual prize value = $120. Subject to the conditions of entry at Etihad Stadium. b. Opportunity to stand on the boundary line at an AFL match in 2014 (3 to be given away in OPSM Giant Mark Competition) The prize consists of one (1) double pass to attend and participate in an inner sanctum tour including boundary line walk before the match starts in the AFL Toyota Premiership Season 2014. The winner will be sent a list of AFL matches that they can choose from in the AFL Toyota Premiership Season 2014. This prize cannot be used for ANZAC Day, finals or grand final matches and the choice of match is subject to AFL approval and terms and conditions. And the entry conditions of the chosen stadium. Individual prize value = $120. c. 2014 Toyota AFL Grand Final Tickets (5 x 2013 Toyota AFL Grand Final Tickets to be given away at OPSM Giant Mark Competition) The prize consists of one (1) double pass to the 2014 Toyota AFL Grand Final, played at the MCG on the last Saturday in September 2014. Individual prize value = $2,990. Any winners of this prize will have their names published on the OPSM website at www.opsm.com.au/afl. d. “This is Greatness” memorabilia item (16 to be given away at OPSM Giant Mark Competition) The winner will win one (1) memorabilia item. Individual prize value = $250. The winner must provide their full name, address and contact details, and the Promoter will post the prize to the winner in the following week. e. AFL Club 2014 Memberships (30 to be given away at OPSM Giant Mark Competition) The winner will win one (1) AFL membership and can select their club of support to enable them access to see their team play during the 2014 season and cheer them along on their journey to September. Individual prize value = $399. Subject to AFL membership terms and conditions. f. Limited edition Sherrin/OPSM footballs (400 to be given away at OPSM Giant Mark Competition) The winner will win one (1) limited edition Sherrin/OPSM football. Individual prize value = $9. The prize will be given to the winner on the day. g. OPSM $50 off voucher (2,540 to be given away at OPSM Giant Mark Competition) The winner will win one (1) $50 off voucher, which will be given to the winner on the day of the competition. Individual prize value = $50. Terms and conditions of voucher: $50 off the recommended retail price of selected complete pairs (frames and lens), frames, or lenses (if purchased separately), lens extras, contact lenses and sunglasses. Offer excludes eye tests, gift vouchers, Chanel, Tiffany & Co, Bvlgari, Oliver Peoples, Paul Smith, Maui Jim, Gold and Wood and Tag Heuer products. Cannot be used in 2 conjunction with any other offer, discount or benefit from any source other than a rebate from a health fund. Cannot be exchanged for cash. Valid until 28/09/2014. All travel, meals, beverages, extra activities, spending money and all other ancillary costs (including travel insurance) are the responsibility of the winner. Any tax implications arising out of any prize is the responsibility of the winner. The stated prize value includes GST in Australia as provided by the supplier and is correct at the time of printing. The Promoter and its associated agencies accept no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit. The prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 13. If a winner under the age of 18 has won the prizes described in clauses 11 (a), (b), (c), or (e), the winner must attend the event with their parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian may be required by the Promoter to provide identification to the Promoter confirming they are the winner’s parent or legal guardian. 14. To the extent permitted by law (including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), the Promoter excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition or a competition prize. 15. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the competition and provide any goods or services requested and may, for that purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers or a regulatory authority and for any purpose related to the conduct of the competition, including but not limited to publicity purposes. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. 16. This competition is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, the Courts of which shall have exclusive jurisdiction if any part or provision is determined by a Court to be invalid or unenforceable all other parts and provisions shall still be given full legal force and effect. 17.
