the actionable blueprint to quickly get the foundation.
May blueprint extensions exists to get to variants, which
do not necessarily fit together, since only few
combinations can be anticipated, also in terms of
underlying software releases.
This is often detected only when assembly has started.
To get this done, rare and expensive experts are
required. This approach does not scale.
Note: regarding Pre-Assembled RDS for Enterprise
Foundation: This does not work as a shortcut. Only
Henry Ford was able to deliver a standard set of
variants, but only in the US!
SAP delivers SAP software + Pre-Assembly Service +
Cloud Logistics + Virtual Appliance via HEC.
Via this approach customers can explore sample
homes and define his personal home based on
available samples and variants, since hardly any
customer will buy sample homes as-is.
SAP delivers the desired home along his requirements
and makes it a turnkey solution within a day, as long as
the property and infrastructure at the site is ready.
If there was a cloud for real-estates, customers could rent a temporary property, have the home delivered and fine-tuned, start
moving in to try it out and then decide upon the final location of the home.
