DATA VERIFICATION GUIDE FOR LEADERS AND STAFF MEMBERS Fall 2013 Rewarding Excellence in Instruction and Leadership (REIL) Rewarding Excellence in Instruction and Leadership (REIL), an initiative of the Maricopa County Education Service Agency (MCESA), engages Maricopa County school districts in implementing systemic change aimed at transforming how schools recruit, retain, support, and compensate effective teachers and principals. The ultimate goal is building the capacity of educators to improve student learning. As part of the REIL initiative and beginning in fall 2013, leaders and staff members have the opportunity to log in through the REIL website and: Review scorecards (for the 2012−2013 school year) with individual performance classification measures; Address questions, inquiries, or corrections by submitting a support ticket; and Work directly with your Human Resources (HR) administrator to ensure accuracy of final scorecards. Please note: Staff Members include Teachers, SpEd Teachers and Coaches. Your careful review of scorecard information is important! Data from verified scorecards will be used to calculate performance stipends. Leaders and Staff Members collectively play a critical role in ensuring a successful data verification process. This guide is designed to guide Leaders and Staff Members through every step. Leaders—How to Review & Verify Individual Scores and Staff Scores, Submit Support Tickets, and Monitor Staff Progress 1.
