SYNTHETIC LEARNING ENVIRONMENT WITH
MULTIPLE INTERFACES
Synthetic learning environments can be used in a number
of ways to enhance learning from facilitated classroom
instruction with a touchscreen or mouse, to equipment
training simulation with a touchscreen interface, to
immersive training in a virtual environment. Battelle’s
synthetic learning environment integrates multiple
learning modes into a single integrated training solution
customizable to best prepare for a variety of specific
missions. Also, learning modules are easily transferred
between multiple hardware platforms, including future
COTS hardware.
