How to Get There?
Yarra Bend Park is located about 4 km north east of Melbourne CBD, between Studley Park Rd in the south
and
Heidelberg
Rd
in
the
north.

Travelling to Yarra Bend Park
By car: (Melways map ref. 2D E7)
The park can be accessed by car via Yarra Bend Road, off Heidelberg Road, Fairfield (ALT1) or Studley Park
Road and Yarra Boulevard, Kew (ALT2). Choose Yarra Bend Road, off Heidelberg Road which comes around
Corben Oval (ALT1). Parking is free in the park.
By train: There are two options to get to Yarra Bend Park:

ALT1: take a train on Hurstbridge Line and get off at Dennis Railway Station (Northcote). It is about 300
m to the Yarra Bend Rd, the north entrance of the park. However, you need to walk 1500 m more down
Yarra Bend Rd to get to the destination. This option is longer but straight forward.

ALT2: take a train on Hurstbridge Line or Epping Line and get off at Victoria Park Railway Station
(Abbotsford). It is about 500 m to the Yarra Bend Rd on Johnston St. When got to the park, you need to
walk about 100 m down hill in the bush! See the attached map for an illustration.
By bus:
