How to configure your Linux workstation for printing.
Check Net-ID
Check if your net id-account works. You can do this via checking your mail at:
http://webmail.tudelft.nl
Type your NETID and your Password. If you can read your mail, continue. If not: change your
password at https://netid.tudelft.nl/
Check the connection from your workstation to the TUDELFT Domain.
Your PC must have a TUD-number, and must have an active connection to the TUDELFT Domain.
Setting up the connection is beyond the scope of this document. If you don't have an active connection,
you can ask for support at your local servicepoint.
How to check whether you have an active connection: open a console, type “net ads info” and press
enter. The reply should show at least one line containing “Realm: TUDELFT.NET”. If this is not the
case, you can ask for support at your local servicepoint.

The printer has been installed and configured. Now we need to check if everything is working by
printing out a test page. Click on 'Print test Page'.
If the test page is printed correctly, we need to check if the applications can use the printer.
Start Firefox Firefox, open File / Print, and print the current page. The printer is installed correctly
when this page is printed.
Note: if an application is running while installing the printer, the application will be able to print only
after the application had been restarted.
