1 HOW to SCHEDULE an EGS BACKUP in WINDOWS XP If you want to set a regular schedule for your backup, you may do so by using Microsoft Scheduler, a system tool bundled with your Microsoft OS package. 1. Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Scheduled Tasks. This will open the Scheduled Tasks window. 2. Double-click the Add Scheduled Task icon to start adding your backup schedule. 3. The Scheduled Task Wizard will now start. Follow the instructions in the dialog boxes. The server name. The database name. Username for SQL Server Password for SQL Server 0 if the CALCMENU pictures will not be included;1 for all pictures; 2 for used pictures only 0 if the backup will not be compressed (will produce EGK file); 1 if the backup will be compressed (EGZ file) EGSBackup will use Windows Authentication to connect to the SQL Server.
