Description
This course is designed for practicing orthopaedic surgeons,
orthopaedic residents and fellows, and medical students who
plan to specialize in the practice of orthopaedic surgery. The
need for this program arose from the responses from previous
course evaluations.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
• Discuss the benefits of a high efficiency office to improve
patient care
• Identify and implement pathways, CORE measures, SCIP
measures and order sets
• Explain the benefits and options of EMR digital radiology
• Describe, report and analyze patient outcome data

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance
with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint
sponsorship of the American College of Surgeons and the
Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society. The American College
